This restaurant is on a side street, then up an alley (toward a parking garage), then turnaround and look for the door. casual dress, friendly service, big wine selection, decent menu, but not large. portion size decent, high quality...fresh ingredients. Appetizer and wine recommendations were successful based on our menu selection. I really enjoyed this peaceful, living and popular...place (it is not easy to reserve the table, so be there on time). Food simple but incredible, service outstanding and atmosphere top notch. And the pasta was the best pasta I have ever had. Only superlatives. Would give 6 out of 5 if it would be possible.

Have eaten here for ~ 10 times over the past years. Never an exceptional experience including a very modest wine list. The restaurant has a great chic reputation but the food today lacks what it used to be when this opened years back.

What a great experience! We were on the bistro side of this restaurant and it’s absolutely worth visiting. 5 course meal with the wine package comes with reasonable price compared to great quality of the food and friendliness of the service.

We really enjoyed our dinner. Even though the restaurant was fully packed they were able to serve the dishes in a good time. The concept is super with the open kitchen. If you have a table next to the kitchen you are basically able to...see your dish in the making. They also have great wines to pair with the food. Highly recommend this restaurant.More

Can't argue with the great reviews ... had high expectations and was not disappointed. Really enjoyed the vibe (buzzy but not too noisy) and each course was beautifully prepared and plated and delicious. Service was warm and friendly but not intrusive. Be prepared to spend...about 100 euro per person ... bit pricey, even for Helskinki ... but (except for the wine) you get what you pay for.More

During our stay in Helsinki happily received an opportunity to have a dinner here. Grilled white asparagus and beef tartar italian style were extraordinary delicious starters. Home made pasta taglione coloured with basil was the same high quality. Reindeer sirloin with red wine sauce and...roasted scallops finished our fireworks of flavours. What an evening!More
