Simple and lovely. Tasty food and good beer. Great service and quick order execution.
We've been there on 1.02.2020. It was rainy outside so we decided to come in and we were lucky to be able to find that place accidentally.
Order: Fish&chips (extremely fresh and tasty), beer Apa, grilled cheese (small portion but good enough to try for 2) and place with onion rings, fried cheese and etc...
Surprisingly the price wasn't too high even the location is great and view was amazing!

We stopped in for lunch and a beer and it was great! I had the fish and chips 👍🏼 and my friend had the shrimp toast which were both good. There is an unlimited salad bar which was good too. Beer was reasonably priced by Helsinki standards. Just be aware the menu is variable and limited so may not be good for kids

This boat is right in the centre and does good food with great views of the harbour. The creamy salmon soup was very good, though it could have been slightly hotter. The service by the young man was slightly brisk and could have been a little bit friendlier - a smile would have helped. Otherwise a good experience and good value in a city where food is expensive.

I was looking for a unique food and restaurant in Helsinki and I found this nice boat restaurant. I had salmon soup and a nice Jalovina ** Brandy. The crew were very nice, the food was great and the boat it self is very nice and cozy. They serve lunch until a certain time (call and double check before you go there), but bar is open until evening time. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a unique experience in Helsinki.

(I didn't realize the name of this place, hence why it took so long to review)
In January 2016, I stopped here after visiting the Market Square. It was a very cold morning so I thought I'd warm up with some food. Inside was cozy; not big at all. They were almost out of food so I was the last person allowed inside and ended up with a bowl of soup and a salad. I probably paid more than I should have (price is worth it with a full menu, I'm sure) but how often can I say I had lunch on a boat in a Helsinki winter? Great little experience and I'd go back for sure.

We were roaming around Helsinki and when we were at the port, we notice that there was a boat on which we could have lunch. So we decided to try it out.
The food was so good....especially the pea soup and the smoked fish. The waitress was very helpful and made us feel at home.
Very nice experience indeed!!

There isn't better place for restaurant, than this! Right in the heart of Helsinki, next to Kauppatori(=Main Market Place), President's Castle and many other major attractions. This Restaurant Ship is there from fall to spring, because in summer time their space is reserved for sightseening ships/boats. Warm, cozy interior and friendly service. Prices are reasonable, considering their "million dollar" location. During summer time, you can rent the whole ship for tours

This is a real ship serving as a restaurant/bar. Really nice atmosphere and good views to the harbor of Helsinki. Also serves lunch but not really a dinner place.

Lunch was really tasty and fresh! Really traditional Finnish food. Location is excellend between Sea and market square. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff! Highly recommended!

It's a ship. A pub on water basically. How many of those can you find? They do serve food, but I cant say anything about it, since they where not serving any at deep evening when we where in. Not the greatest choice of beer, but definitely great atmosphere.

Food was good and reasonable price level. Evenings also bar is open.
