Not only is the food at Zucchini delicious but the staff is incredibly helpful & friendly. Perfect little local joint for flavorful vegetarian food. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes. Highly recommend.

Went to have a ridiculously tasty lunch with my friends and was amazed the place. Ambient and staff was super 🙏🏼❤️ Definitely recommend to check the place and their tasty colorful plates ☀️ Desserts are out of this planet 😂 too good !

We arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes before closing. We didn't realise it but the team were taking the afternoon off for a pre-Christmas function. Nevertheless, they welcomed us and explained how the food worked. It was a set menu consisting of soup, vegetables...and a pasta dish. You can have one or a combo of all three. We chose the combo and the food arrived promptly and in such huge serves we couldn't finish it all. They kindly put our left-overs in takeaway containers for us. The service was lovely and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. If we were staying longer in Helsinki, we'd have definitely visited again.More

Went here for lunch and luckily arrived fairly early ie before 12 noon as the queue whilst we were eating was very long - a sign it's a popular place. The system is to queue up and buy your food and then find a seat...- table sharing with strangers is the norm. Every weekday there is a set meal for 10.50 Euros which includes a main dish plus lots of sides and bread and water. They also have soups & deserts, but we were too full after the main meal to try desert.More

Zucchini is two block off the Helsinki Esplanade and another two from the waterfront. The place has about 15 tables. However, the food is so good and the staff are so efficient that you will want to stay and share a table. The food is...strictly vegetarian, and Zucchini only opens for lunch. The menu consists of a daily special, or a soup. The special is a fully loaded salad (ingredients varied by day), along with a bed of rice, quinoa, couscous or similar, with a full serving of a main dish. I was there yesterday and had a cabbage, cauliflower and sprouts salad with quinoa, topped with yams and carrots stewed in a coconut curry. There was also a spinach and garbanzo curry on the side, and that was very tasty. You also get a choice of various kinds of bread, most of which are house-made. Drinking water -as always- is complementary. There is coffee, both Finnish style coffee and espresso machine options. The house coffee is so good you really don't need to pay extra for an espresso-based option. You can pay for your coffee with your meal and the staff will keep an eye on you to bring your cup at the end of your meal, which I find to be a wonderful, caring touch. There are cakes and buns for the ones with a sweet craving. The staff are an extremely friendly and relaxed bunch. You order at the counter and take your own food to wherever you sit, and because this place is so popular the staff make sure to be on the lookout constantly to clean up. And for all this, the price is astonishingly great.More
