If you want to have any kind of Turkish dish in Helsinki, Istanbul Grilli should be your first choice. With great food and kind staff, you will have a nice experience. Do know that this isn't a top-class restaurant but a restaurant where you can get delicious food at semi-cheap prices.
In anyways, this is the best Turkish restaurant in Helsinki and if you are either longing for your hometown or want to try some Turkish food for the first time, you should visit there.

Great food, good service and excellent price. I recommend especially the lunch buffet, with soup, salads, a grill dish and beverages. Wonderful restaurant in the middle of Design district in Helsinki.

Friendly fast service. We really enjoyed our mixed grill platter. The meat was beautifully marinated with spices, tender and delicious. The serving was very generous and the prices not expensive . The setting is rustic and casual. Recommended.

Fantastic pick. The special grill for one person was a decent portion size, and salad/hummus/condiments/soup/water/tea were on a self-serving buffet. Very good value for money.

had a night in here on recent trip to helsinki
food was average in truth , they close at ten and the staff there dont want to be there a minute after
we got there bout 9 and the whole experience was very rushed, they sprayed the chicken with lots of oil to cook it quicker and it has a very burnt taste as a result
there was a few in there and maybe if we'd got there earlier it might have been different but i probably wouldnt go back

This restaurant is surely not the prettiest in Helsinki, but the food is surely the best.
We always visit on business and the food and service is always as expected, delicious!

Turkish restaurant with a salad buffet area, serving meat grilled on an authentic grill. I had the chicken, tasty and tender. Staff is nice and prices very OK. I will definitely repeat

A warm welcome with prompt sevice, great dinner with unexpected extras included. The lamb kebabs were as tender and there was turkish beer which Id never had before.

The lunch buffet costs only 10 euros which was my main reason to visit the restaurant I pass often. The cold vegetable starters tasted just like in Istanbul and the freshly baked bread accomplished them. The dishes on the main menu look more interesting than the lunch options served from a hot plate.

Some things running out (arrived one hour prior to closing of buffet), selection now after renovation much smaller and quality not the same anymore. They used to have 2 kebab meats, one of them being chicken with good meat, now only one (the same meat you get everywhere in Finland) and with poor quality. Other meats poor too. Salmon soup had no visible salmon at all. Soft drinks are limited to one glass only and one dessert was provided (quark with fruits, it was okay). Prior to renovation this was one of the best buffets in Helsinki, such a pity they have not kept up with quality anymore. Staff are friendly and interior is nice but buffet now not really worth much of a visit anymore.

Went here at lunchtime had quality meat I don’t know name of Turkish foods however most likely a Tava or cassarole kebab like a Testi (without the flame and pot) the meat in this meal within the buffet was exceptionally good. Staff polite! Place clean and much variety there is no way on earth this shouldn’t be in the top 10 on trip adviser I cannot give big enough recommendation even included sort drinks for 10 euro you can’t normally get much in Finland for 10 euros :-D amazing!! Very highly recommended by Dave :-)

We were staying next door and needed a quick, easy (and preferably reasonably priced) dinner. As we'd walked past earlier in the day and noticed the sumptuous buffet being prepared for the €10 lunch offer, we decided to try out this venue for our dinner that night. It didn't disappoint in any way. We hadn't booked - no problem. Gracious welcome from staff, chose where we wanted to sit, ordered from a menu with adequate choices, settled in with a Turkish beer and the food was served before we knew it.
Very generous serves of beautifully char cooked meats and vegies, dressed salad, freshly baked bread and choice of sides. Could barely finish, with no room for baklava!
We returned there tonight and made sure we could fit in some dessert and were not disappointed in this either. Average cost per person, including beer and dessert, was €22. Highly recommended.

Very generous, very tasty and fresh. Good price! Just what the family needed tonight! They offered flexibility in the menu when my kids wanted something different. Simple but good Turkish food. Also, some baclava for desert when we weren’t expecting it! Yum!
