There is no storage of cafés in Helsinki but finding one that offers genuine services is not easy. Fortunately, I came across Roasberg which is probably the best one around town. Excellent location as well and I have since become a regular. From tea to...coffee, and from beer to wine, they have a huge selection to choose from. They also serve food and cakes.
If you want to have a drink and don’t want to go to a super noisy bar, this is also the place for you.
What I like the most about this place is the relaxing vibe and friendly staff. They always make you feel very welcome! Last but not least, a big shout-out to Savaş!More
We popped in on our first day. It had a trendy, student vibe and was really friendly and relaxed. Lots of chatting, laptops, and cake! We shared a mozarella and pesto sandwich plus carrot cake...it was so good we came back 3 days later :)
A cosy, slightly Bohemian cafe at the heart of Helsinki. Nice good, great coffee and drinks and friendly staff.
The cafe is bigger than you think (also check the basement), and always bustling with people in a good way.
I went for an early lunch on Saturday. This is a very nice place with friendly staff. I got mushroom rain deer quiche with a side salad. Quiche was delicious. Also hot a chocolate cake and cappuccino, cake was very very good. I like the...interior as well. Very good value for money spent, I would recommend visiting.More
Trip advisor previous reviews are correct! This cafe is awesome, fairly rustic but comfortable. Atmosphere 'bohemian' and the music great. Vety cultural.
Food, I wanted a cheese sandwich with salad and that's what I got. (Most sandwiches in Helsinki seem to have fish in them,...again relative to culture). Coffee also warm, pleasant and served in a glass to.
Definitely a place to visit again.
Across from main rail station if coming into Helsinki.More
This place was a big plus surprise at opposite of main railway station, offering actually much more wider list of eat in menu than just only those delicious small eatings with coffee. Visited there with some friends before going into meetings. So not the place...where people just doing beer, rather than have several possible good options from menu. Next time I'll stop & check main courses. My first time didn't allowed to stay longer than half an hour.More
I popped in on Saturday morning for a quick lunch before I caught the train to the airport. I was massively impressed, I had the Salmon Soup which was on (€11.50 at the weekend) and it was absolutely fantastic, wish I'd had a chance to...pop in a little more and try some of their other food. Great place to relax and eat!More
