Just excellent. My partner and I arrived hungry after walking all day and missing lunch, and left unable to eat another bite for around €35 for both of us. The food was delicious - complex, richly flavoured and perfectly cooked. The waitstaff were polite, friendly, and helpful. There were a few people there but we walked in on a Sunday night at 7pm without a booking and were seated immediately. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and friendly service and great value for the money. $$ is appropriate, roughly €16 - €18
The server was willing to guide you through the spice and recommend items on the menu.
The entrées paired with Naan bread were good portions which is perfect for lunch before walking the city.
Recommendation: Lamb or Chicken is what we had.

Fantastic beautiful delicious food. Great attentive service. Very nice welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed our dinner greatly, the food was perfectly spiced and prepared with authentic care. Portions were generous. We had a bottle of organic Spanish wine that was really good and not overpriced ( in comparison to other places we visited).
I would definitely recommend this beautiful authentic place to everyone who values tasty good food.

We have travelled in India and other parts of South East Asia, live in Northern UK with some renowned Indian/Nepalese restaurants around and not once in any of them have we had as good a meal as tonight. One dish modified on request, prawns beautifully done and even a nice Austrian rose that worked really well. I suspect the place is well known locally,lot's of takeouts

We would like to try something different from Finnish cuisine. We tried this restaurant. Polite service, various options from meat, fish and vegetarian. They are also prepared for gluten allergies and they suggested some options gluten-free. A reasonable price (50€) for two main courses, one side dish and a large beer. I would recommend it.

Excellent food and service.
The ambiance in the restaurant is very relaxing and laid back.
The interior is decorated beautifully with Indian and Nepalese decorations and fit out.
The Palak Paneer (Spinach with cottage cheese) which we ordered came with 2 slices of tandoori bread which was baked to perfection.
Restaurant is located in a pretty street which which is quiet.
The restaurant staff were super polite, welcoming and accommodating.

The best Nepalese food I've had in Helsinki, The sizzler dishes were exceptionally tasty, great spices, the food also felt healthy and the ingredients were good quality. Very friendly customer service- they asked us if we want more rice etc. before we had to ask for it.

This is a gem of a restaurant for those who like Indian style food. Nepalese in nature so has different approach to the use of spices but should suit most tastes. Tell tale sign that this was a good place to eat was that it was very busy with locals on Wednesday night in the tourist off season. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Choice was great. Meals come on a tray with rice and naan bread included in price along with two cooling dips and small leaf salad. Washed down with the draught beer it was very filling. Highly recommended.

It was the first time we tested food from this region. The taste reminded me of the local food in small towns in central India. I appreciated that the restaurant seemed to serve traditional dishes from Nepal.
I can recommend a walk in the Katajanokka district when you are in Helsinki.
There are interesting Art Nouveau quarters near the restaurant. Many of the houses have ornate facades and I think they are worth seeing.

Perfect indian/nepalese dinner with family at this unassuming restaurant in Helsinki centre! My Mismas Thali was delicious, and the family reported simular experiences. It was all topped by a very good Mango Lassi, all served by an attentive waiter with goid humor.

Excellent expérience! We were desperate to find a place open on Sunday and still serving food at 8:30pm. Came across this place with the good reviews and open until 10 so I decided to call before we went all the way there. Perfectly pleasant and happy to have us! Our server was great, the food was delicious, and they have mixed drinks too! Best part was their prices were half what most places in Helsinki are charging 😍 Great place overall!

If you love Indian or heavily seasoned food, you love this! Amazingly flavorful, fresh, and very filling, the dishes are wonderful to share family style to everyone gets to taste multiple dishes. We ordered 4 plus peanut salad for our family of 6 (caveat, 4 girls under 14 so not huge eaters), and we still had some leftovers to take away. The lentils were spiced just right (for me, still too spicy for the non-spicy eaters). The butter chicken reminded me of our family Christmas Bread, but in this case the cardamom flavor is more full and robust - amazing! Veggie lo mein was good for the girls (we loved it too) and the salmon in a cashew cream sauce. Amazing, but when our 8 year old asks if we can come back here (as did our 11yo), you know it’s something special! (They really loved the naan and rice…)

Your thoughts of this restaurant will probably depend on how much you’ve experienced Indian food. We’ve both lived in Birmingham and had some exceptional curries - this unfortunately isn’t one, but it’s nice, the naan breads are excellent, the service is very good/very friendly.
Probably more a 3.5/5 but 4 would be a bit too high for the food

I can’t wait to visit this restaurant again, it is always on my wish list whenever coming to Helsinki. The food is so good and the place is very nice, also nice people. This time we had another chicken dish and the chef’s special and I can highly recommend that dish! Absolutely delicious.

We had the vegetable and tomato soups for starters. Both were rich in delightful layers of flavor that slowly sink in. Next we had the peanut and vegetable salads that were interesting and for the main course a vegetarian malai kofta and a king prawn dish. All were delicious.
The service was friendly and the general ambience was relaxed and inviting.
