Only reason for not giving this restaurant one star because the food itself isn't that bad. Seating went fast.Quick service in the beginning. But then comes the first question - What do you want to drink? We said that we rather wait until we knew...what we were going to eat to match it with the food. Waiter comes back to take our order. I order the smoked salmon sallad and an side order of fresh fries. And always very politely explaining my gluten intolerance. My husband a club sandwich. And now again - what do you want to drink? I ask politely for a drink menu or a wine list so we know what to chose from. I have learned from spending lots of time working from Finland that wine is darn expensive so I won't just order whatever "red wine" if I'm going to have wine and pay that sum of money for it. Waiter comes back with a list and stand there waiting for me to chose. I kindly and with a joke tells him that I don't need the stress to read through the list that you could have provided me together with the menu. But no. I need to chose now. Ok then. French organic red wine it is. Seeing that it wasn't poured up in front of me - I have absolutely no idea if that is what I got. One hour later comes our food. My husband asks for some mayonese (to a very very dry bread) and I get a few pieces of lettuce and on top a grilled very very thin piece of salmon. No Fries. I ask for the fries and they tell me that I can't have them because of my intolerance to gluten. Ok I said, and asked if they couldn't have informed me when making the order and waiting for one hour. No. Instead they offer me a baked potato. I get it and my husband get his mayonese. Which is not mayonese at all. We ate everything due to our built up hunger. It wasn't what we ordered. But we were too hungry to start complaining. Then we would like to pay and get ourselves out of there. All of the sudden all the waiters seem to be on a break with a quite full restaurant. So we went to the counter and ask for the bill. They try to charge us for the mayonese that wasn't mayonese, for a whole ceasar sallad (that I didn't order) and extra for the grilled salmon (That I also didn't order). By then they realised how absurd the situation was and actually offered us the whole meal for free which is lovely and correct. But I'm writing this rant because I think this is absolutely such a waste of talent. It seem to be more of a management problem that you need to solve asap. Get help from someone from the outside and just fix your problems. For example - make your menu smaller, prepare a drink menu and wine list. Be more organised. You have everything to win but more to lose if you don't try to get it together quite soon. Thank you.More

I had a the beef burger which was extremely basic and still quite expensive. I ordered also a salad whcih was very small. The service was slow even though the restaurant was half empty.

The food quality depend on the day..... Pizzas-burgers are in average probably the best choice. The service level is pretty basic. It is technically a nice place in a ok location with a good parking facility downstairs, suitable for business lunches, dinners and a coffee...- quick chat. I believe the management should take care more about the service - if you pay such a money you deserve better attitude and higher speed. Hopefully if one day they are going to renovate fully the hotel, this place will be shining as well.More

My kids and I arrived at the restaurant around 9pm. The restaurant was not particularly busy. I ordered the reindeer, one of my children ordered a hot dog and my other child ordered sirloin steak. It took a very long time for our food to...arrive. Another couple that was near to us also seemed to be having some problems with service as well. The sautéed reindeer was tasty, and very salty, it was more like a minced (hamburger) texture. It was topped with mashed potatoes and served with lingon berry jam and pickles on the side. My son's hotdog came with some chili on top. It was not served with a side, so when the waitress came back was asked for an order of fries. That order came out faster. My son that ordered the steak enjoyed his meal. He thought it was delicious. We ordered dessert and asked for the bill at the same time. It was already past 11pm. Dessert came in a timely manner. My kids went to go to the room as it was late and I went to the bar to pay for our bill.More

We had booked a table for 16 people. There were only few other tables occupied at the same time, but restaurant wasn’t full at all. First two from our party get their pizzas. When they were half way eating them two others got their burgers....The cheese burger was missing the cheese and two other burger's steaks were burned and they had to send them back. The food came to the table little by little but after 1,5 hours two of us still hadn’t got their food. The waitress did best she could, she was very professional and polite. At last when the last chicken dish arrived it was completely raw inside and the one who ordered it couldn’t obviously eat it. For compensation they offered us free coffee/tea and cake, but it didn’t save the time we could have spend together otherwise. 5 of us had to leave before the coffee and tea as they had other things booked. Obviously they couldn't know that it would take this long time. The evening which was supposed to be relaxed night out and spending time together ended up as a disaster, which felt like it was from a comedy movie. Food was average tasty but the experience all in all was so terrible, that I won’t recommend this place for large parties.More

Viola serves meatballs for lunch every wednesday and they're really good! The salad buffet that's included is also really good. However the lunch on other days is just average, don't recommend..

Located in a hotel the food at this restaurant is perfectly fine, however it is not even close to the greatest Italian fare you will ever have. What really lets this restaurant down is the service. It is slow, inattentive and leaves a lot to...be desired. All in all this is not a restaurant I would recommend anyone to actively book but if you happen to stay at the hotel it is a convenient choice.More

Located downstairs os stylish Radisson Blu Seaside hotel. Friendly service and nice interior. What surprised me was their lunch. In Helsinki you can easily pay 3€ for cup of coffee. In here for 10€ you get huge salad buffet, where you can choose from about...10 different quality salads(and breads of course). And then delicious creamy salmon soup, which alone would be worth of more than that 10€. And for dessert coffee, fruits and some Finnish chocolate.More

This restaurant deservedly receives the gold medal for being the slowest restaurant in the world. The service is really abysmal. Food is average, setting is fine, location good, prices higher than should be, but not too much. Generally, an average Helsinki place, but REALLY slow...waiters.More

Went here with family for a meal during easter weekend. Surprisingly good value. For 12E I had a huge chilli dog with a salad. My wife's cheeseburger and chips were 20E. As a special for the day kids ate free, which was super! Little kids...corner also. Sense you could stay here for a long time before staff would try to move you on. Overall a good experience.More
