I love Japan and this restaurant is exactly reflect the soul of Japan! We would like to thank personnel for being so kind and professional. Food was amazing- homey and fresh. Now this is one of my favorite restaurants ever!<3

The food here is great. I had meat gyoza, miso soup and 12 pieces of sushi. I definitely recommend this place, it’s authentic, tasty and with good service.

The best sushi I’ve had in Helsinki. Just delicious. We were fighting for the last piece! They also ask you if you want wasabi in your nigiri/maki rolls before they make them which is very nice. Not all are wasabi lovers like me.

Koto! It was near the place we stayed at,and being Japanese,it was worth a go! Its spacious..they have waiters/waitresses and not that bad actually. The food is alrighty-my beef dumplings were quite yummm, although the pork stirfry wasnt much to talk about. I realised,to my shock,some...restaurants serve no accompaniments to the mains-i first saw it in Milan, now Koto, yet, not all restaurants, which is weird!! Anyways, Not much goes on....oh,you do get mints after your meal though!! 😁 A bit high for a normal place, but hey,its Helsinki!!More

Very nice restaurant with good food. Only drawback for us was very little choice of main course for vegetarians but the meat and fish dishes were excellent.

Situated in the center of Helsinki (yet on a somewhat quiet street), this is the closest you'll get to a truly authentic Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere reminds you of a small family-run restaurant in some Japanese neighborhood. It does get very slightly on the kitsch...side, but I'd rather have that than a faceless, clinical environment. The staff are friendly and effective, the portions decent, the prices reasonable, and the quality very good. It's also the only restaurant in Finland I've ever gotten a complementary candy with the bill. Not the best ever, but very good.More

We visited this restaurant twice when we were in Helsinki. Simply love the ambience and food and service. The place makes us feel homely and welcoming. The waiter even advised us from ordering too much in case we couldn’t finish. Strongly recommended!

This is a nice restaurant in a quiet-ish part of town. The menu has a decent range of choice, and the staff are nice if a little slow sometimes. The bento box is probably the most interesting and fun thing on the menu although it...is not cheap!More

No wait, attentive waitresses, kitchen is japanese, you can tell by the plate. Generous portions. Fair price for HSK standards, I believe. Have been there only once but will definitely come back if any occasion. Don't be shy to mention it is good when it...is, rather than complaing all the time !More

We used to come here often for dinners. This time we found the food less good. Pork was overcooked. Agedashi tofu was too dry and tasteless. Sushi rice had no vinegar and the sashimi salmon was not tasting fresh. The prices are very high compared...to other places. The homemade green tea icecream is delicious. The service is friendly.More
