Great lunch experience with really good portion sizes.
You get a curry with rice and naan, with raita and tea/coffee at a very reasonable price.
Naan was really crisp and fresh and cardamom tea was amazing. My chicken gravy was little sweet hence 4 stars but highly recommend.

I’m just going to say it, this was the best Nepalese that I’ve eaten. We saw good reviews on trip advisor and chose Ravintola Mountain in Helsinki for a family dinner.
We took recommendations from the server, and had the Lamb korma, the chicken tikka Marsala and paneer karahi . All the dishes were cooked to perfection, the meat falling apart in our mouths. Presented on dishes separated into small sections with salad, basmati rice and accompanied by raita, for the naan. Omg the naan bread. 5/5 for the naan.
Comfy booths, great lighting and very friendly staff make for a delightful experience. Go…even for the naan bread.

This place is cozy with delicious and flavorful Nepalese cuisine in generous portions. The garlic chicken and vegetable sizzler are incredible soaked up with the naan and basmati rice. This is one of our favorite dinners in our trip to Helsinki!

Although this restaurant calls itself Nepalese, the menu offered standard Indian fare. Having lived for years amongst the many Indian communities in Birmingham, England, and frequently enjoyed their cooking, I couldn’t help but compare the food on offer here; unfortunately, any comparison was unfavourable. For example, the fish curry served up was made from cheap breaded fillets. Sauces were not prepared fresh and didn’t match up to the lovely flavours we have become accustomed to. To cap it all, a bottle of beer was 11 Euros and upwards.

Plenty of tasty food, prices are reasonable and service level excellent. I had a mixed plate with chicken, lamb and cheese, which was quite spicy but delicious. Accompanied with naan bread, of course.

We’ve been coming to the Mountain for the past few years, and having tried several of their Nepalese competitors, we always end up coming back here. The quality standard is high each time.
Service is efficient and friendly (don’t let the shorter waiter’s serious face fool you, he’s actually a softie inside), and most importantly the food is delicious. Try one of the paneer dishes!

This is possibly the best Nepalese food in Helsinki, and maybe even all of Finland. I've been here dozens of times. The naan is amazing and so is the Chicken Tikka Masala. The service is always friendly and prompt. I bring all friends and family here whenever they are visiting, and they all love the food.

Very positive suprise, been a while when last time had lunch here. Great Nepalese restaurant, very polite service and reasonable prices for lunch, around 10€. I had two in one, shrimp and lamb portion which both were tasty, as well as my daughters chicken. Nice naan bread included and even fresh chili and interesting home chili sauce, too. Highly recommend to move a little bit outside the city to enjoy this culinarists heaven in Töölö, Helsinki.

This is possibly the best Nepalese food in Helsinki, and maybe even all of Finland. I've been here dozens of times! The naan bread is amazing and so is the Chicken Tikka Masala. The service is always friendly and prompt. I enjoy the aquarium and music too!

Excellent nepalese place to visit in Töölö. The portions were relatively cheap and big. Nothing to really complain, you get what you'd except from a Finnish nepalese place, but everything done right.
