This sympathetic cafe with a French atmosphere is located next to the Töölö marketplace.
Since 1994, this cafe has been a warm and homely living room for breakfasts, lunches, etc.
In the memory of old times, we enjoyed after-dinner drinks here.
You can also wash your laundry here.

Decoration and atmosphere are absolutely lovely, feels like Central Europe!
Breakfast was okay. Proper French-style croissant (crispy on top, fresh and soft inside) and better (= stronger & more full-bodied) coffee would add to the European feel and make customers come back for more, instead now the croissant was undercooked, soft and tasteless, and coffee too weak. Otherwise really liked the experience, though!

The outdoor setting is great👌🏼☀️. But oh so disappointing that a salad ordered on the terrace costs 2,60e more than when ordered indoors😤. Friend ordered inside for this very reason and got salty service for it (and was told to wait indoors for her salad and take it outside herself). This is enough to not make a return. Very disappointing 👎🏼

I recently had an unfortunate experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly rude and unwelcoming, making me feel uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. I stopped by for an early dinner and needed help charging my phone, but the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Even asking for the Wi-Fi password felt intimidating due to their attitude.
This was unfortunately not an isolated incident, as I've noticed a pattern of unfriendly service in Finland's cafes and restaurants. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling frustrated and disappointed by the lack of hospitality and courtesy.
Also the Kana Feta Salad I ordered had so much vinegar that had to sip some water every now and then. A sour Euro 16.

Visited with a couple of friends on a monday morning. The place is nice and cosy, and its located in the heart of Töölö. The breakfast was around 10 euros and I was happy with my meal! Quite normal finnish style breakfast that wont leave you hungry :)

Came for breakfast and had the Tango. Good price to offer for Helsinki. Atmosphere at this place brings me back to Paris. Lovely what a gem!

Great food and fantastic atmosphere. Loved the brunch at the weekend. Only issue is it gets very busy so hard to get a seat. We came back though!

Cant say anything about the food, but great coffee and atmosphere. A true oldschool classic place in helsinki. The washing machines are a nice detail about the past.

A nice place to have coffee or meet up with friends. Very handy for Scandic Park Hotel. Weirdly also has a washing machine in the back so customers sometimes come and do their washing while having a meal or a drink.

I needed a place where I can work, do my laundry and eat breakfast. And it's exactly the spot I needed. Decent prices, awesome quiche and wonderful pastries. If you find yourself with the same needs you should go give it a try.

we needed to do a couple of loads of laundry before heading to Estonia and did not have time to send it out. Our hotel told us about this place. We walked there mid morning. They told us we should have made a reservation for the washer and dryer, but we got lucky and it was available for the next 2 hours. The machines are in the back corner so out of the way a bit. Coffee and bakery were good, beer was as well!

Something here for a little breakfast of coffee in a sandwich and the cafe made me feel like I was in one I've been to in Paris. Just that very relaxing local vibe with good coffee and conversation. Stop by if you're in the area and need a cup of coffee!
