Lovely atmosphere, mystique and intimacy on the bacstreets on Helsinki. Scandinavian delicatessen. The best meatballs on town. Decor untouched from the 40’s. I strongly recommend a visit. Better be sure and booli a table first.
We actually went there because it was open late and it was the only thing open. I'm really glad that we went because it was excellent. The perch was amazing. One of the best fish meals that I can remember. My wife and daughter liked...the meatballs but I didn't like them as much. Their soup was good. Nice and attentive service and they spoke english well which was nice. Overall it was excellent.More
Cozy place with 70s athmospere. Meals are affordable and solid, but nothing special at all. If you don't know where to eat a good chance, but not a recommendation in particular.
Service is good, friendly and professional.
This tiny and old fashioned restaurant is just 5 minutes walk from the city centre.
The food was delicious, we had a menu that included goat cheese salad, reindeer and blueberry pie with ice cream. Our foreing guests were surprised of the quality of the...meet.
Service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Quite liked this place even though it is bit out of the way. I ended up walking from central railway station and it took me about 15mins. The location is down the end of a long street. Inside it is old style, like time stood...still since the 1960s? Staff were friendly and accommodating. Most dishes are quite large portions, I opted for meatballs which came with creamy mash and had blueberry pie for dessert. There is also good beer menu. Was very busy. Would book ahead of you can.More
A classic bistro-style restaurant which takes you back to the 1950's. Whiten tablecloths and menu which consists of classic dishes like fried herring with mashed potatoes or meatballs. Try also the open sandwiches like the Metsastäjänleipä- a veal steak with wild mushroom sauce on a...bread. This is a restaurant that does not go after trends, it is always the same. And that is good.More
