After years of visiting the nearby restaurant Kolme Kruunua, customer service level has collapsed close to zero - not feeling well come at all. During one drink we realized that all customers has to face the same problem. We left the restaurant.

The best salmon soup in town with great rye bread. Will recommend with international guests. Also the dessert from the Karelian area called “köyhä ritari” the poor knight is exellent, sweet“french toast”

Easy reservation, quick service, traditional Finnish meals, and delicious food. Nice for a family dinner; kids menu is definitely a plus.

My wife and I had dinner there tonite and the main courses were both like warm as we were really hungry decided to eat in spite of this Should not happen when confronted the waitress in good way she started to explain about bad warming...lights in the kitchen. We should have returned the food when it came but did not do it The quality of food especially my wife’s Wienerschnizel was good but my reindeer stew was not so good! Both though like warm It seems that when you complain the waitress can only say I am sorry my answer is do not be sorry improve yourself. When asked we got a coffee for compensation but no pro activity here This has happened a few times when complaining and find especially disturbing as this restaurant is good but needs to train staff in handling complaints?More

Found the place by word of mouth, good menu and good food. Half of a lounge bar and a cozy restaurant, music in the background low lights. Local me ù with Finnish specialities and a decent selection of whines (allow me decent just because my...wife loves sweet wine and the selection is mostly dry wine). Overall a great experience, competent and capable crew and an expert chef. Food comes out at the right pace to let you enjoy both food and the conversation in the middle. Price is proportionate to the experience. A place to go 👍 By the way you can just stop by for a beer at the deck.More

This typical Finnish restaurant was really good, from service to the food. We had a salmon soup to start with that came with an amazing bread and butter; and two typical Finnish plates as main- quantities were big and everything was well tasty, we loved...it!More

My neighborhood joint since i was 10, now at 36 I still love coming here once a month. Unique atmosphere, decor and straight up good basic Finnish food. If youre tired of the hipster options, come for the local comfort food.

This place is not at all suitable for families with children. It would be better to know ahead if children are not wanted. Restaurant has a children's menu so we thought that children are welcome. We had a reservation and told then that there are...4 children coming also. Also for adults it is a long time to wait for example desserts almost an hour. Their waiter told afterwords that this is a place mainly for adults and they have difficulties because they must take care also of the terrace. The bill of about 300 € came rapidly.More

Authentic Finnish restaurant with good atmosphere and good food . I come back after 2 years, and the team is still serious and benignant

We heard of this restaurant as a hidden gem in Helsinki, beeing one of the oldest remaining restaurants. Service was ok and fast, the food was a bit variable: The salmon medallion was too salty, but the raindeer filet was astonishing (something of the best...we have ever had). Sadly service did not ask whether the food was good, so we could not share our experience. The bilberry pie as desert was great as well. Would recommend this place for real Finnish food anytime.More
