Slow service, but the food was hot and tasty

We had a family dinner late on friday afternoon. The restaurant is small, but cute and cosy. The waitress was a little awkward and the service was slow, but maybe a little surprisingly we got hot and very tasty food, the portions just perfect size, not too big. So for the food I can recommend the restaurant.

Amazing Italian food! Cozy backyard.

Hidden gem, authentic italian! I had the reindeer pasta and my wife had the mushroom risotto. One of the best pasta and risotto dishes we ever had. We will soon visit again and try the set Menus.

Excellent apple gorgonzola risotto

The apple gorgonzola risotto is just outstanding. It is ao good that I eat it every time. That’s why I don’t know about their other risottos.

Slow, slow, slow

We had table reservation for four people on Saturday afternoon 15 o'clock. We got nice table outside and orders were taken prompty. But then it took one hour and fifteen minutes to get our starters. It was way too long time for guite simple food like bruschetta and snails. Our main food arive five o'clock which was horrible to wait. Good thing was that food was tasty but I recommend not to go if you are hungry already when you have table reserved. We skipped desserts jjust because we would not wan't to wait those to arrive.

Never again - didn´t get food at all

We had a reservation at the restaurant for three people. We had reserved time for 1.5 hours, after which we had to move to the nearby Musiikkitalo for a concert. However, we didn't have time to get anything but drinks during that time, even though we had asked about the main course many times and told about our schedule. As we left in a hurry, the waiter said that he could pack our food soon. We told you that it would be difficult to eat them at a concert. We had visited the place a few years ago, when the service and food were excellent, but we don't go there anymore - it's a shame.

Catastrophic ignorance. Keep away.

We made a reservation for a dinner in good time. When we arrived with my wife, specially dressed and in good mood, there was no table. Our table was given to a group of four persons! Only so. This is the worst thing a restaurant can do to a customer. I suggest that nobody should bring his money to this horrible place. No respect. Only cheating.

Comas lunch risottos are so delicious that it’s worth a visit just to try it! It’s a small restaurant that is easily missed when walking in Museokatu.

Pasta and Risotto galore

First visit to Coma during a Monday evening. The place was practically empty. The menu, however, was full of pasta and risotto dishes, and a few meat/fish dishes to boost. The place feels like a bistro and the food was ok. We both had risottos and some appetizers. Plenty of taste and nice texture - but somehow I was expecting a bit more. Maybe need a second visit to give Coma a chance to convince me.

Great food!

I was surprised to find this gem of a restaurant right next to my hotel. Although the location is small inside, everything else is great, food very European, cross between Italian, Mediterranean and French. Service is friendly, I tried several different meals and was happy with all. Of special note is the Tiramisu, made from scratch, unlike any of the mediocre of same name I've had in the states. I visited by myself and early but they do accept reservations. Give it a try!

Great food & service

Small and cozy restaurant, great food and good service! The only minus was that the tablecloth and serviette were not perfectly clean. Would still recommend this place! The mushroom risotto was delicious!

Very bad service

We went to Coma to celebrate a graduation with my family. I called to the place one month earlier to reserve a table for eight persons. I got a feeling that I have to make sure the reservation was ok so I called there again the next day. At the graduationday we went to Coma with my family as planned, and the staff had no idea we were coming. They didn’t know the size of our group and said that there are two other big groups coming at the same time. The staff seemed angry and arrogant and they built up a place for us from tables to the corridor. We had to sit there next to the kitchen where all the people walk and there was no privacy at all. Then we had to wait for a waiter to come to work and still it was unsure, if we could even stay and eat there. I’m so disappointed to this place. The food was ok but with all the money we spent to the place, we should have had much better service.

Cosy dinner

Had a short version dinner here with my wife. The place is really small but cosy. The kitchen is right by the entrance and there are a couple of places opposite it. In addition to that there’s more seating in the next room. The place is really relaxed and the personnel are friendly. Food was tasty and the waiting time was not too long. Pricing is decent. A nice little place for a simple dinner. Do book a table in advance as it is so small.

Intimate, cozy and good value

Went there with friends for dinner. The first impression is that this is a very small place! The staff is certainly not trendy, but very friendly. The owner/patron/boss/whatever is like any Southern European small restaurant owner, joking, talking and making guests feel very welcome. The dishes were very nice, especially risotto is made exactly the way it should be, and all the dishes matched well with each other. It felt like being in a small restaurant somewhere in Italy.
