I chose the salad option, which had lovely fresh ingredients for a reasonable price, and a generous helping. One received a basic salad of lentils, red onion, salad leaves and cucumber, and one could then choose 2, 4 or 6 additional options/toppings. There were vegan...choices such as Beluga lentils, large white butter beans, stuffed grapevine-rolls, etc. Vegetarian options included a variety of cheeses such as mzarella, white-mould goat-cheese, feta, etc. One could choose the mustard or garlic dressing, which was then topped with sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Home-made bread made from a root-dough (passed on from generation to generation) was included. The service was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Tabletops + the restaurant was really clean. There is not much choice on Suomenlinna on a winters day and we had a bit of a wait for the next ferry back to Helsinki , so we popped in here for a snack. It is a unprepossessing little place, but it was warm...and cosy. The pizza slices were yummy as was the hot chocolate, just the thing on a cold day. The service was cheerful.More

Stumbled across this small cafe on the way back to the ferry dock. Excellent value, tasty lunch on offer for only €12 - including bratwurst, salad, bread, and coffee or tea.

Stumbled across this place and so glad we did! One of the best little cafés I have ever been to, really nice food and a great concept where you order something and then help yourself to bread, salad and tea/coffee. For us it was lunch...for two for €10, well not including the adult beverages ;) I highly recommend this deli and café!More

The pick your own Salad was fresh and tasty. Quiche and pizza were also enjoyable. Not used to dock food being this good. !

Once on Suomenlinna, there are not a lot of places to eat. This cafe offers sandwiches and salads. Although the service can be a bit slow and there is a lack of (cleaned) tables, it is convenient and tasty.

Enjoyed a pork loin on top of potato salad, with fresh bread; included coffee, tea or water; opted to try a local craft beer from the brewery located at Suomenlinna, which was refreshing. The front area where you can sit and eat is nice and...it has a beautiful spiral staircase near the front window. Staff was friendly and I would recommend a stop here if you're looking for something quick to eat, etc.More

Traditional food in cosy surroundings. The service is friendly and the bear good. A bit pricey for the quality of food they serve, but I guess it comes with the tourists.

We stopped here for a quick beer and a peice of cake while waiting for the ferry back to Helsinki. The cake was delicious and the locally made Suomenlinna beers were also great!

Good food, excellent service. The view its amazing from the windows. The waitress was kind and helpfull.

I ordered the vegan and gluten free “stew”. It was not a stew. Maybe lost in translation? It was a vegetable, quinoa, and lentil dish that was full of flavor and satisfaction. The Syrah and Tempranillo blend red wine was great too.

This is a good place to eat lunch when visiting Sveaborg. It is near the habour and it is very cozy. It is also a shop selling beer, chocolate, sweets and other stuff, which looks very tempting. You can also buy take away.
