It was just really good! Starter, main dish and desert were very tasty and of a high quality. The service was very attentive and also advised us well in the choice of wine. Finally a restaurant with a more than good price-quality ratio. Highly recommended to visit more often!

My new home in Helsinki

First time in Helsinki for me and it was a cold and dark evening around 9pm- very hungry and looking for food after a long workday my eyes wandered and fell on the warm light of Casa Italia Bulevardi- once entering, it was clear the kitchen had just closed but the owner made an exception for me and it set the tone for the rest of my experience at this wonderful restaurant. Not only does Casa Italia have great wine and food, but in true Italian spirit they seamlessly make you feel just like home with their incredible warmth and hospitality. When I come back to Helsinki this will be my very first stop. Thank you Casa Italia and Staff for this place. My new home away from home. See you again!

Lovely small restaurant and excellent food

This was my first visit to Casa Italia since the beginning of Covid crises. I was glad to find Casa Italia almost full, but there was a small outside table for me to enjoy an excellent dinner. I took bruschetta al pomodoro as a starter. Oh yes, best tomato I’ve tasted this summer. Chicken breast in a Gorgonzola and N’duja sauce for the main course and chefs recommended red wine. A hearty portion - a had to leave deserts for the next visit. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, excellent food and good value. I will definitely visit again when I’ll travel to Helsinki next time.

Horrible customer service

I had to wait for food 55 min. The table next to mine came after me and got apologies for waiting for the food and was offered free drinks. I would have expected an apology and a complimentary drink too. I assume the waiter did non think I understood Finnish and what he just said to the table next to mine... This was a very poor costumer service and a total waste of time and money. Lasagna that I ordered was very small and left me hungry.

Cosy atmosphere and okay food, but terrible service!

Booking table to this restaurant is very old fashioned. You have to call the restaurant and make sure you receive an email clarification. We had a group of friends and phoned the reservation week before. When we arrived, the reservation was of course lost by the restaurant, and it took a long time before we got a table. Service was overall very unfriendly. I think the food was okay and the place in general was cozy. Didn't like the service so I don't think I will visit again.

Definitely worth a visit

We called in here Tuesday after noticing a queue the previous weekend and we immediately liked the authentic Italian feel to the restaurant as soon as you walked in. We didn't make a reservation but in fairness to the staff they accommodated us and made sure where we were seated was fine. We opted for the Lasagne Bolognese and the Polpette Napoli dishes and we all agreed that they were really nice. The staff on the night were so friendly and helpful and we were glad we tried out this restaurant.

Небольшое, но очень уютное местечко. Радушная хозяйка, я даже позабыла, что нахожусь в Финляндии, а не в любимой Италии. Все было очень вкусно и недорого! Small, welcoming place with very friendly staff. I even forgot that I was in Finland, not in lovely Italy. Everything was very tasty and not expensive. Surely I will visit it again!

Visited this place two times within the short weekend and both times were amazing on food selection and hospitality of the Owner. Variety of the food was just fine and wine choice was above expectations. Thanks for Owner and team for a warm piece of Italy in windy and rainy Helsinki.

Best coffee in Helsinki

Hands down this place have the best coffee in Helsinki. It's a small place, cozy and warm and they offer you some big flavors. Good products and amazing staff. Every time I leave there I leave happy. Ps. It's a great place to find good quality Italian cheeses

Located around the corner from the sandic Helinki Hubs Hotel, discovered by chance by my daughter, this was just very good on 2 nights. Luca u his colleagues are warm u accommodating. Food great, card completely sufficient u positive special 👍, very good taste, Price for Helsinki ok, Cosy atmosphere in the small restaurant, you immediately feel comfortable. Recommended!!!!!

A little slice of Italy in Helsinki

Stopped here our first morning in Helsinki, to get a quick espresso and we were not disappointed. The owner/server was delightfully warm and inviting. My son speaks fluent Italian so the two of them conversed easily in Italian, until I had to ask them to speak English so the rest of us could understand. Great coffee. We would have returned the next day but he was closing shop for a bit while he took off for a holiday in Egypt. Definitely recommend, especially if you like a true Italian coffee.

Nothing else Italian except the name of the restaurant. Lasagne out of Saarioinen tin foil beats this version and my wife’s salad costing 22eur was a joke.

I tried to go to buy something from their deli but the waitress really rudely said that they are so busy that we are not welcome to come in… it’s sad as this is the pretty much only place where you get Italian stuff in Helsinki
