Very beautiful panorama on the channel and tasty sea food. The mussels are a must in this restaurant, top three in Helsinki. The Skagen bread could be upgrade with a ticker bread but it was tasteful. Musta pastaa was also very good. Good service and...nice atmosphere in the restaurant and also a very good quality/price ratio.More

This restaurant is located by the Ruoholahti Canal. It has a pleasant terrace. We had a drink stop here on our way to Lauttasaari. The service was friendly.

5/5 for the food; we had chicken and pork and a cake and an ice cream to share. Friendly service and staff. Great location with a view!

Took a short walk from the holiday and found this restaurant, which is nicely located at a smal channel. Menu was quite limited in the main course selections but I found what I wanted, a Salmon and it was fresh and nicely prepared. Fast service...and the waiter recommended a nice wine with the fish as well. Potty it was cold and dark but would be lovely to come again when you could eat outside at the terass.More

Nice weather proved to be an issue: me and my guest had a table next to sea front, and the wall is basically one large window. With the nice sunshine it got first warm, then too hot. The waitress reported the curtains are as low...as possible - which meant we did not have the view but still got the sunshine on our bodies, which were shortly getting sweaty. First the jackets came off, then we rolled up our sleeves and finally between courses we changed seats to be bit further out from the window. The business menu was three courses. My guest made a mistake and realised he will not eat the seafood based appetizer only when it was served. Upon asking for a choice to fix the issue the waitress suggested my guest to pick up soup from lunch buffet although then agreed to deliver it to our table. The courses themselves were quite nice although could be better, perhaps more focus on quality and less volume. Mixed feelings.More

The neighbourhood is dead at evenings, but don't let it scare you; when first inside the restaurant, the view is beautiful and their menu offers quite a selection of well prepared and nicely tasting dishes, from vegetarian to meat and fish. The wine list may...need a fresh-up since it was hardly any bio- or eco-wines there, but that did not stop us from having something else in our glasses. The service was warm and smily, and we were lucky enough to experience a live band with everything from the 80-hits to dark, Finnish tango on their repertoire.. nice....!More

The best part of Faro is its location right on the channel. During our bar visit, service was amicable, and beverage selection decent (while modest).

Late lunch with two families. Bit unpolite service. Order & pay advance at bar. Long waiting for poor food... wery costly = extra small portion of fish and chips for 22,5€!! Burgers for 19,50€ were very dry and tastless. Can not recomend to anyone :(

I was here on a Sunday afternoon participating in an engagement party. As the foods were preordered, I cannot say about the speed of preparation but I csn confirm that the foods were tasty. I was especially delighted about the presentation of my steak tartare...(see the pictures). The dishes, and especially the drinks are quite expensive, though. The perfect view compensates that to some extent.More
