Quite surprising, the presentation, the dishes and experiencing Ethiopian food for the first time. I recommend you to choose the menu for two of Ethiopian delicacies. It makes you really want to travel there.

We stumbled across this restaurant during a weekend break in Helsinki. As much as I enjoyed the fish dishes in Helsinki, this was by far my favourite meal of the trip. I had the vegetarian lentil dishe which was absolutely delicious: very rich, slow cooked and full of new spices I had never experienced before. Could be a bit spicy... More

We went there with a friend for dinner and we had "Agelgil" for two. It was very good. If you are familiar with Ethiopian injera and berbere you will definitely enjoy!! But if it is first time specially for injera it may need some time to get use to it :)

This was my first time in "Kuningatar Saba" Ethiopian restaurant. I had no expectations and had an open mind when entering the restaurant. For starters I took "Dabo" (Fresh Ethiopian bread served with awaze dip) and it was nice. For main course I took "Alecha Yesigawot" (Beef cooked in alecha sauce and vegetables) and it was really good. The beef... More

We went to Arfrika for three weeks before visiting this restaurant and i would say that the food is really african. But i prefer asian food or european... But its worth a visit just to get the experience.

I found the portions were at first disappointingly small, compared to the many other Ethiopian restaurants in USA and Europe I have eaten at. But when I tasted the food, my disappointment went away. This is gourmet Ethiopian at its finest. Small portions, high quality. I do not regret eating here. But if you are ravenous it will cost you,... More

I lived in Ethiopia years ago and know what´s good Ethiopian food is. This is very good authentic food in a more or less authentic atmosphere. This is the only Ethiopian restautant in Helsinki and I´m happy every time I eat there.

We tried the menu for 3 persons, and weren't quite satisfied with the size of the meal. The sauces were decent tasting but not special, while two of us considered the bread (Injera) a bit odd in taste and texture, which is of course subject to personal taste. House wine wasn't great either and we waited quite long for the... More

There is seldom anymore a completely new world of tastes for me. Can't understand why I never found Ethiopian food before. From the first time I tried injera I was addicted and I return at least once a month if I get the chance. Sure, they could, from what I've later researched, do their own injera and make it a...
