Good curries and very warm, friendly and welcoming service

Excellent service during busy lunch time. Helped c us to choose dishes. Cleared table immediately and suggested to move to a cosier, secluded table as it became free. Assisted moving to table. Really ice curry, distinct flavours of each sauce. Salad buffet, nan, rice and of course beautiful spiced chai. One of my favourite ravintolas.

Amazing Nepalese restaurant with a heartwarming service

Extraordinary Nepalese restaurant with an outstanding service! The food was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing too. The people in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. They heartwarmingly receive you with open arms and they make you feel very welcome in their restaurant. If you are looking for a Nepalese restaurant to go to, then Masala Hut is definitely the one! In short, dining here was an unforgettable experience!

So, let me tell you about Ravintola Masala Hut, this awesome Nepalese joint hidden away in our bustling city streets. As soon as you step inside, you're hit with this amazing mix of spices wafting through the air, setting the mood for a seriously unforgettable meal. Their menu is like a treasure trove of Nepalese goodies, each dish packed with flavor and made with love. I advise you to try Momos too. Those little pockets of joy filled with tasty goodness. And don't even get me started on their Dal Bhat along with naan– it's like a warm hug in a bowl, seriously comforting stuff. I also liked their salad. But what really makes Ravintola Masala Hut stand out is their hospitality game. The staff there are just so friendly and welcoming, you can tell they're passionate about sharing their culture through food. Whether you're a seasoned pro when it comes to Nepalese cuisine or just dipping your toes in, you're in for a treat at Ravintola Masala Hut. It's not just a meal, it's an experience that'll stick with you long after you've licked the plate clean.

Excellent Nepalese restaurant in Helsinki

This restaurant has become a weekly tradition for me, and it’s clear why. Between the welcoming atmosphere, consistently outstanding food, and excellent service, it’s a gem that I recommend to anyone looking for authentic Nepalese cuisine in Helsinki. Whether you’re a regular like me or it’s your first visit, you’re in for a memorable meal. Many vegan dish always available and dinner price also good.

Vegan food was excellent 👌

Vegan options were clearly written in the menu and stuff new what veganism ment. Food was really good and portions large. :) Vegan food is few euros cheaper compared to foods with meat. Friendly service, pretty restaurant, we had great time! :)

Mmmh, tasty!

A little bit away from the center of the city, but very close to Kalasatama Center we had delicous Nepales food on a sunny terrasse. Very correct price for huge portions! All the food had its proper taste, which is not often the case when you have a lot of choice of menus. ...we apreciated specially the choice we had between finish hot and nepales hot. (hich is not just the same!)

Delicious Nepalese lunch with sunny little terrace 🍽️☀️

We ended up here with my wife and our little baby boy when looking for a terrace to enjoy the sun while having lunch. Ordered from lunch menu Chicken Tikka Masala and a vegetarian dish, both were delicious. The staff were really friendly and even offered us Nepalese tea at the end. We will be coming here again and will recommend this place! 👍🏻

Great food for a reaonable price.

I visited Masala hut for lunch with a friend. The food was good, the portion sizes were large and the price was very reasonable. Will defintiely be coming again. My only minor nitpick is that the naan was uninteresting, but I got it for free with the main so I can't comlain =)

Recommended Nepalese resturant

Overall, a place we would visit again, and recommend. Service 5/5 Food 4/5 Interior/ambience 3/5 Price structure super simple and reasonable. Food was great, but not extraordinary. Menu a tad too long. Service was super friendly, and serving was pretty quick and simultaneous for all (we were 9). Easy to find parking. Absolutely recommended!

Great food, friendly staff. We can definitely recommend this restaurant. Decent prices. The waiter was kind and offered us Nepalese tea. The food was good and fresh. We left with full stomachs.

Great Nepalese Restaurant in Kalasatama

Great food and even better service. The Lunch price was really cheap but still the meals tasted delicious and there was plenty of food. The staff was also very nice.
