Excellent food with really good flavors. Nice atmosphere and very pleasant service in English and in Finnish. All meats and other cooking thing are served on table then you cook and make your food by yourself. Nice concept but if pay your meal for lot, it would nice that all food is made by somebody else. But really the worth to visiting once.

Korean BBQ is now finally in Finland!!!!

Finally, it’s here!!! The taste is just like Korean BBQ that I have been looking for. They served different variety of meat and seafoods. The side dish is unbelievably great as well. The dessert is so unique, it is not just a typical pastry, its a must try. Their waiter reminded me of Uncle Roger 😂, he was so entertaining. They will explain each meat they serve and if this is the first time you try samgyeopsal, they will explain and show you how to do it. The place is now bigger and the interior is so stylish.

The staff and food are all simply amazing

This is the first Korean bbq we have been to and we were not disappointed. Firstly the staff were wonderful, they couldn't do enough for you. They were constantly on the go jumping to everyone's every need at super speed. We had a child with us and they were very good at recommending food from the menu she might like. They explained the process really well and the food was simply delicious.

Horrible experince, these people living in the 18 Centeury at least!

In short, these people will force you to order menu set of 29€ at least which includes all kind of meat (Pork, Beef, Fish etc....) and even if you don't eat certain meat or have allergy to any of them, they refuse to replace any item. These people living in 18th century at least. The long story, the worst experience I had ever with a waiter. The waiter was blatantly stupid. I had to leave the restaurant before I managed to make an order. First he confused me about ordering men set vs from menu. He said if I am not ordering a menu set, I must order Kimchi, salad and Kimchi sauce first. I said, I am fine with that but then he said it is gonna be more expensive than the 29 € menu set. I said no problem. Then he told me I will go and think about it. When he came back, I said is okay if I order the 3 you said I have to order plus sweet potato and chicken, the waiter responded it is free country, I can't force you to order anything!!!! Then my friends asked for the 29€ and asked him to replace the pork with chicken, he said I will make an exception for you. I said I want the same, he said I made the exception to your friends only, I am not making this exception for you. How rude was this guy!!!

Too expensive for poor quality and quantity.

I went for dinner, got the cheapest deal which is 29 Euro each, totaling to 58 Euro for 2 people. We got a little bit bigger than a chess board divided into 3x3 squares and only 6 out of 9 squares were meat. Each square ranges between 2-4 pieces. The pork belly pieces have bone in them. I have had Korean BBQ in Korea and all around Asia but never encountered this before. The pieces are around 1.5cm thick and maybe 8~9cm long, overall just isn't enough. The rice was cold and strangely sticky. I weigh 47kg so it's not like I eat a lot either. One Korean waitress was very nice, explaining how to eat it like in Korea however another waitress rushed our drinks order. The slurry drink with soju does not taste like it has soju in it at all. Overall, very disappointing even if it was cheaper. I read reviews before I went that said similar things to what I am saying, top tip, trust the reviews.

OK but expensive for up to four persons, not for five

Actually we were at Oppa's new, third location at Redi shopping center, but you can't write a review for that place. But I assume they are very similar. We were five persons with a reservation, and we were given a table for four with one grill. One grill is enough for 2-4 persons, not for five. We also think the price 49€ for the medium size serving was quite high, if you compare what you get for that elsewhere. It was fun to grill you're own food, especially for 4 guests, but this was a one-time experience. We won't be back.

Serving instant noodles for lunch at 16$ a bowl

OPPA Redi: I'd visited for lunch once earlier, tried the lunch menu bibimbap, thought it was oddly bland and lightweight without any of the expected richness of flavour. Thought I'd give them the second try today, tried the noodles, and it was shin ramyun. Dollar store noodles at 14.50€. I have never felt as disrespected in a restaurant, not even when two overfed gorillas stalked every move of my fork for half an hour until I'd finished dining and paid my bill at a La Famiglia. Next door at Noodle Master they work their asses off for their produce and here chuckles in the kitchen bills the same for turning on the water kettle. I wish I didn't have to mind my language. It wasn't the fault of the kids at the front, so I didn't want to take it out on 'em. One seemed stressed and wigging out, so it was kind of restless eating my pricey instant noodles. I guess they had the place figured for what it is, an embarrassment to korean cuisine. No, a disrespect. Interior was the nicest in all of the redi places, though. Guess that's where the money went.

Food was alright, service was somehow meh

Food was good. Location is good. Service is partially good. One waiter was quite rude. We asked for another sauce bowl in the beginning because we know we obviously needed more than one small bowl. The waiter was very meh and hesitant, didn’t want to give us at all but we insisted on having an extra sauce. We got it in the end. It was raining outside and we were without an umbrella so we sat in the restaurant for a while. The restaurant was 50% empty. The same waiter approached us to tell us to sit in the lounge to chat so the table could be cleaned. I wasn’t happy about this: 1. Restaurant was half empty. 2. You did NOT mention that there is a time limit in the reservation form. And your staff swept us away spontaneously. 3. The waiter seemed to be annoyed at us. There could be a better way to communicate. The waiter’s attitude could be way better AND you could have mentioned the time limit in the reservation form, or when you start serving customers. Not a happy experience. But as I said, the food was ok. I can still recommend, because except for that rude waiter, the rest of the staff & the dining experience was alright with me.

Will not choose this restaurant again

We went to try out the new Oppa restaurant in the REDI shopping mall for lunch. We were there about 1.30 pm and found that they were already closing lunch service. The waiter wanted us to be seated at a table directly in front of the kitchen where people run past all the time. We did not want that and were met with a sour face. Not a good start, and as it turned out our visit followed in the same way. The salad bar was almost empty, no cutlery was brought with our dishes, and we had to ask for glasses for our beer. I expected to have a nice Asian meal, but my tempura soup was bland and did not taste fresh at all. In my partner's choice, the bibimpap with chicken, the meat was almost cold. We had thought about coming for their BBQ some evening, but this experience does not encourage it. Overpriced food, poor service, and a non-finished ambience. Go somewhere else!

Bad Korean BBQ experience

Maybe I’m spoiled with authentic Korean BBQ at home country, but this is really not anywhere close to real Korean BBQ. Beef has no taste pork also not good, dessert tasted sourish which indicates bad food quality. Waitress was quite surprised when I asked for a BBQ plate change- hello? You got cancer if you continue use it for more than 15 min- Google it if you don’t know and Google how frequently Koreans change the plate. Will definitely not come back.

We had never tried this kitchen and it was a wonderful surprise! The very friendly and courteous staff advised us on both menus (for quantities) and cooking times and how to use salad leaves to roll cooked food. All very good! Highly recommended!

There was enough food for two. What I didn't like was when the waiter put a lot of meat to fry at the beginning. We didn't manage to eat at that rate, so most of the meat was really dry when we got to eat it. Rather, the waiter could just tell you the cooking times, etc. And how to eat the food and what it is. In addition, the number of carts in the restaurant was really heavy. All the clothes, including outerwear, still smelled on the cart for many days. So ventilation should definitely be improved. Plus nice waiters, good wine and beautiful layout. The food itself was not that tasty. All three sauces started to taste pretty similar at some point. But as an experience, it's nice and different. I still wouldn't go again, unfortunately.

We arrived a little late and the welcome was perfect. The waitresses very friendly. Following a misunderstanding we ordered only 1 menu even though there were 3 of us and yet the waitress gave us all the accompaniments for 3 and even 3 desserts. Perfect, thank you very much and sorry for the misunderstanding...😀

Great service with instruction for the cooking. We ordered the «standard menu» for €29 per person, and it was plenty of food for two hungry adults. Overall: delicious food, good variety and great service. Recommend!

I came for dinner with friends and the food was divine! Everything was just perfect. I personally don’t eat meat but there was multiple vegan/vegetarian & pescatarian options to choose from. This is a restaurant truly for everyone Will be back soon again!
