We found this spot on accident, and are we happy we did! We climbed the stairs, not realizing there was a rooftop bar awaiting us! We ordered some drinks and sat while taking in the beauty of Helsinki - a fantastic spot!

This is a beautiful building in a great location but unfortunately it has been let down by terrible customer service and disinterested staff. As soon as we arrived we were met by rude, unorganised and unprofessional staff. They seemed far more interested in looking after...their ‘friends’ and being ‘cool’ than running a restaurant. Members of staff were drinking behind the bar whilst we were waiting to be served. The food was good albeit very overpriced and simple. However the attitude of the staff let down the whole evening. It unfortunately seems that this place has become more of social hangout for the staff rather than a business. I would advise you go elsewhere. You can get better food for a fraction of the price and without the pretentious attitudes.More
That is the first feeling I got when entering. When asking available tables to be polite (all were empty...) got an answer "that part is closed...". Not an answer. After a drink as waiting company, we left ASAP...
Great place to eat and drink, chill out, socialize, admire the gulf of Finland, sunbathe, use a sauna and pools, or do some yoga. I liked the wooden lounge chairs and the roof top bar. I had an excellent ice coffee, and relaxed before heading...to the Temppeliaukion. The overall atmosphere was perfect for enjoying a very special Finnish milieu right by the gulf!More
The cafe is conveniently situated by the pier, from where you catch the ferry to Suomenlinna. It’s hence a good idea to grab quick bite here before a day trip to Suomenlinna. Nice view of the Harbour and the Ferris Wheel.
Everything in one place, bars, restaurants, swimming, sauna, big wheel...what more do you want?! PArticularly nice during the summer and mid-winter.
The warm spring day had encouraged customers out to the sunny deck of the restaurant with views over the couragious bathers dipping in cold sea water. Service was a bit slow inside as on my previous visits, if you have three people working one should...concentrate on taking the money.More
Everything around Allas Sea Pool, including the downstairs café, shuts down at 9pm, but my flight was not leaving until nearly 1am, so I decided to try the upstairs restaurant, which I believe is called Wine & Dine or maybe Dine & Wine? It must...be brand new, or perhaps it was recently taken over by new management? Whatever the case, I ate a tasty blue mussels dish, which was improbably complex but surprisingly good. I don´t even know what all was in it, aside from mussels and octopus and some sort of frothy cream. But it was good, as was the accompanying bread. To drink, I had a glass of house red (Merlot, I think). I found this to be a pleasant post-sauna experience in part because the waitress was so nice. I seemed to be the only person in the restaurant, so I assume that the place must be new.More
