This is a very nice laidback pizzeria with efficient friendly service and delicious pizzas, which are nicely different from the typical pizzeria chains. The pizzas are Italian-style rather than US-style; they are large enough for an average grown man, but not huge, and toppings are delicious and well selected, but not an inch deep like is US pizzas. Also, the base is not just to hold the toppings, but delicious in itself. One thing to keep in mind that they do not take table reservations, so a larger group might have to wait for a while in the bar.

Really nice pizzeria in a good location. The pizzas are the best we have eaten in Finland - the dough has so much flavour and the tomato sauce is really tasty too. The staff was nice, and the atmosphere good. Only real downside were the prices - while the pizzas are certainly worth it, the wines were way too expensive. Thankfully, water was served for free so that sort of made up for it. Overall a must for anyone who loves pizza and stays in Helsinki - totally worth the 25 min wait for a table!

The pizzas are freshly baked and only comes in thin crust, which is fine. They also only come in 1 size, about 12 inches. The 2 of us shared one pizza as we weren’t too hungry and it was adequate. Service was prompt. Nice enough pizza.

Service was great. Tasty pizza con salome that was served within 10 minutes of ordering. The restaurant was packed and closed at 8 pm. Our con salame was large and cost 16.50 Euros which we shared between two of us. There is only one size and one type of crust.

Years ago I visited H for business. Would never order pizza. But this trip, for fun, te reviews were so tempting. And they were right. Tasty, made like I was in NYC (homep0, I can heartily recommend eatring genuine INeopolitan Pizza in Helsinki Be forewarned they are generous sized for one, and I guess 2 can do one justice. Order a started seemed a bit much

It was my first trip here and I have heard great things from friends. Unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations. It was very busy, which I understand can be difficult, but the attitude of the waiters was simply rude and inattentive. We were not greeted or acknowledged on arrival and then left to wait sometime for a table. When we were seated, a friend of mine mentioned that it was her birthday. She did not expect any special treatment, but sometimes it is a nice thing to mention. She was simply met with an eye roll and a shrug of the shoulders. I was very surprised by this. We ordered, only for the fire alarm to go off and have to stand outside. Again, I do not hold this against the staff, but it seemed to be handled with miscommunication and a lack of planning. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt as we had heard such great things about the food but unfortunately this was also disappointing. The marinara pizza bizarrely had burnt basil on top and was cooked to a crisp. It seemed to be placed on top in the oven rather than afterwards. There also seemed to be inedible chunks of garlic on top rather than having the garlic combined with the sauce. Margarita pizza was fine, however the salami pizza was poorly cooked and rather soggy and the meat far too potent. By this point we simply decided to pay and skip dessert. It’s disappointing that somewhere with such a good reputation was such a disappointment. Perhaps we were simply they’re wrong place wrong time or the busyness and popularity of this place has led to a decline in customer service and food quality.

One of the many things I love about Helsinki, is that there are so many dog friendly places. They even announce with welcome signs saying Koirat Tervetulleita! One of our great nights out was at Via Tribunali. You are met with a relaxed, buzzy atmosphere and a yummy smell of baking pizzas. I'm a bit of a pizza snob and held my breath until they arrived - but they did not disappoint! In addition though the place was busy we never felt rushed, we had plenty of time to talk, enjoy the delicious pizza and a good glass of wine. And Molly got special Tribunali made dog treats to boot! A good balance of chill, quality and care.

Review is about Via Tribulani in Hietalahdenranta. First of all, the food was great, could say it was 4,5/5 so thanks to the chef! However the total experience was only average. The waiter told us when we arrived that the waiting time was about 45minutes, but we got our table about 1,5hours after we arrived. In the website of the restaurant it is said that their guideline with customers is "first in first serve" so it was kind of a small disapointment when we saw that the waiter forgot the order of arrival. There were take away orders which were ready before our order, even though we had ordered our pizzas about 20minutes before. Also the people who arrived after us got their pizzas first, which was a failure from the staff. There were no regrets or apologizes about the situation.

If you wanna eat some real Italian pizza, well this is the best pizzeria in Helsinki,everything was good except for the short list of pizza that they have.
I went to eat yesterday and I really loved it except for the service, the restaurant was not busy at all and the staff kept forgetting things, but one thing made me think about the service, the pizza box.....I asked to take away my half eated pizza and instead of taking my plate he just brought me the pizza box so I can do it my self but after paying almost 20€ for a pizza I would except a better service.

I visited yesterday Via Tribunal with my friend because we had heard a lot of good things about a restaurant in the center of Helsinki. The place itself was really atmospheric and cozy. The customer service was really high quality and the pizzas themselves were the best i have ever eaten in helsinki! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Happened by this place during a layover in Helsinki and despite initially questioning it looks for the outside, I am so happy I went in.
The menu is pretty much pizza with some desserts, antipasti and a good range of drinks thrown in. Staff were very friendly and the service very quick. Which in needs to be, as there were a good number of people passed thorough in the short time I was there.
Had the pizza and it was excellent, cooked to perfection and easily enough you could consider sharing 1.
Will definitely be back at some point.

I have been a staunch supporter of Via Tribunali ever since they opened in Helsinki. A recent visit sounds the alarm: A popular restaurant - any restaurant - must earn their spurs every day. We came in on a weekday at 9 pm. Not many customers were in. The waiter's appearance was sloppy and the attitude not attentive. Tables were moved around and the staff went about preparing for tomorrow which a) disturbs guests present and b) diverts attention from the customers. The pizzas were not as perfect as before - burnt edges but a soggy bottom. I, for one, think an € 18 pizza has no excuse to be anything but perfect. So, my friends at Via Tribunali: Be careful, don't let yourselves down. The pizzeria is still nice but not as welcoming, charming and good as it was only a few months ago when I last visited.

Most unsatisfactory visit. The pizza was difficult to eat, everything on the dough was loose and just thrown on the dough. The piza was served on a totally cold plate. After the fisrt pieces everything was cold, the ham was swimming in the cold tomato sauce. Not good that way. I recommended that the pizzas shoyld be served on very warm, even hot plates. In total very disappointed.

The pizza was exellent but the service not so much. I understand that the staff is stressed out because there were very much people waiting but I still think every customer deserves to enjoy their dinner in peace. It felt like the waiter was in a hurry and just wanted people to eat as fast as possible and free the table. He was not friendly. If you are looking for an enjoyable evening in a peaceful restaurant, do not go there! If you just want an affordable, delicious dinner with service like a fast food restaurant, this is it.

I can't understand how this restaurant has such a high rating. We didn't have a good experience during our visit. Firstly, the service was extremely poor. We had to wait at least 45 minutes to get our food. Before we finished drinking the carbonated water we had purchased, the waitress took it away, saying she would refill it. But she never came back with new water. When we asked about it, she made an excuse that she was almost alone at work, which was far from true. We also observed her bringing water to several tables next to us. It would have been better if she had been honest and admitted that she forgot instead of trying to lie to the customer. We travel a lot, and the service at this place is one of the worst we have experienced. As for the food, the toppings on the pizza were okay, but the crust was too soft, almost like undercooked dough.
