My family and I love this restaurant, we always eat here whenever we're in Itäkeskus, Helsinki. The flame-grilled meats are delicious and juicy, portion sizes are generous with all kinds of side dishes, too! Economical and tasty food

Very economical and tasty food. I was highly recommended by my friend and I was very happy to go there. Warm bread and soup was the highlight for me for which you don’t need to pay much at all. Highly recommended

Raw chicken

Otherwise the food was good, but my shish chicken was raw inside. When I askek for a compensation for the inedible chicken, I got shouted at. Unprofesssional kitchen & customer servise.

Hidden gem off the beaten path

This restaurant is located just next to the metro station in Eastern Helsinki by the large mall Itäkeskus. It features authentic Kurdish dishes cooked over a charcoal grill served in a middle eastern atmosphere.The food is great, large portions, inexpensive prices that include a tasty...free salad bar.More

good food

I like their lamb together with raisins assorted rice. Not mentioning the good shish kebab as well. Good value food.

Another hidden restaurant of Helsinki

Top quality food. Service fast. Best recommendations: Shish kebab, tea, salad. Great expereince and bonus is the shish lounge.

Large portions, ethnic atmosphere - almost like being abroad!

Wanted some exoticims for holiday lunch and being in Puhos shopping mall in Itäkeskus is almost like abroad! Big portions, real handmade feel with some nicely charred rims in the grilled chicken. Worth trying before the area renovation looming in the near future!

Tasty lunch

Really friendly staff. Good and tasty oriental food with reasonable price. Tou can choose to sit on traditional Europian comfortable arm chairs or directly on an oriental carpet - cool

A hidden gem in Itäkeskus

We’ve eaten here twice, and love it. The food is amazing. Generous portions which you wouldn’t believe. A meal costs between 10-15€, and includes salad, water, nan breads, and tea/coffee. The meat is succulent and juicy, and the flavouring is spot on. The garnishes are...fresh and full of flavour. The falafels are also really good, and not at all dry or over-flavoured which can happen. One of my favourite points are the “private” booths. These are carpeted with low tables and cushions, and give a real feeling of being away from it all. Each booth has a couple of power sockets, so working remotely here is easy. The atmosphere is (family-)friendly and relaxed, with a warm welcome from the staff.More

Good food and friendly service

Good and authentic Middle East food. Just forget those bulk "kebab-pizzeria" places all over the city. In Kirkuk you find real original tastes. And super friendly service. Prices also very modest.

Worth a visit definately

If you are looking for an authentic kebab, this might be your place. Food was actually quite plain and the veggie option nothing to rave about but prices are a bargain and the place really busy, mostly frequented by ethnic clientele. For this experience only...we were quite impressed.More

Traditional Middle Eastern food

Very good traditional grill food from Middle Eastern kitchen. One of the best restaurants in Itäkeskus area. Definitely recommended! Price is what you normally pay for fast food but this restaurant offers you a lot more. Good quality and the service also friendly.
