Lunch buffet quite the way you would like it, enough options for starters and main course to please most. The decoration is nice and the atmosphere is good for business lunch or just lunch.

I was staying at this hotel so decided it was also the best place for a meal in the local vicinity. I was pleasantly surprised, the girl who served me was very pleasant even though only a trainee but she was doing very well indeed...and she was friendly. I had the Raindeer Capacio and the Steak, it was very nicely presented and was a very good standard. It really had a lovely taste. So this was a very nice surprise, the chef is doing them proud. Also it was clean and there was a few nice touches that you would get in a more expensive restaurant, well recommended for a meal.More

This is the hotel restaurant at Holiday Inn Ruoholahti. The hotel has been recently renewed. This biggest difference is the new Open Lobby concept which combines the lobby, the bar and the restaurant to a relaxed, living-room style space where guests can eat, relax or...work. Came in early (6 pm). Restaurant was almost empty. Yet, they left me standing near the entrance as if I was not there for a while. I was eventually seated near the window, which must have a nice view over the water, in summer time....Food was served quickly. Taste and presentation were fair to good, but it all seemed to have been prepared in advance. It also seemed that the main course was heated in the microwave, yet, tasted well.More

Restaurants in hotels are usually a letdown, but not Fokka. Staff are really attentive and friendly. Needed a quick bite and had the carbonara, which was really tasty and the serving was just perfect for me. Will definitely eat here again.

The food is not bad (except the mushroom soup which was awful), but the portions are ridiculously small and it's very expensive. The pike/perch with horseradish butter was delicious but much too small. If you don't have two or three courses you leave hungry. Worst...of all is the very hit and miss service and the fact that you can wait a long time for your food even when the restaurant is almost empty,which is usually is, and I'm not surprised. The management here may think they can get away with all this because most people staying here are on business expenses, and there are no good restaurants near by, but I'm tired of being taken advantage of and tonight I made the effort and walked ten minutes to a great little pub called Kanna where they serve better food at half the price, and I will definitely be doing that again!More

i arrived about 9 p.m. and came to this restaurant. it took few minutes to find somebody ( staff was busy with tables' cleaning. Staff friendly recommended to choose any table in restaurant if i want to eat. Food was good with reasonable Finnish prices....Service was fast and good. Hotel uses this restaurant for breakfast.More

I had the reindeer entree and steak for main and was very happy with both. The bread is complimentary and also quite delicious. Serving staff are not so attentive and more focused on clearing away dishes on tables where people have left but they are...friendly and helpful when you get their attention.More

The menu has the basics for Finland. Salmon and mushroom soup, reindeer, lamb burger. One glaring gap is the lack of pure rye bread, rye happankorppu or nakkileipa. Really? Fix this.

Cool place by the water. Great for drinks and meeting with friends. The restaurant sits by a canal and is very relaxed.

Good burger, prices are reasonable. House Salad was fresh and presented very nicely. Cold beer and full bar is available. Server is attentive but not overbearing.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn West and this restaurant was very convenient for a business lunch with a client. The fish of the day was excellent. Presentation and service was very good.
