Sunny bay Restaurant is a fine dining place, really clean and nice interior and outside environments. Food serve with a big dish and the price is 12-17 euros per normal dish, also affordable price for party and events. Good taste of food, friendly staff, and city center location👍

This place offers a deal for the people that work in the company where I am located. There are often Chinese tourists, some of them behave very well some do not.

We went to this restaurant with my sister after bought an offer online. The waiter was rude didn't understand Finnish or English, he was compleining about what was included or not in the offer. The idea to publish offers online is suppose to be to get customers... this kind of behaviors got the exact opposite result. In the end we even pay for the tap water something that is not a common behaviour in Finland. Food was nothing special, the meat was gummy and not seems fresh . Never again!

I went to this restaurant with my family to celebrate my birthday. We all love Chinese food and didn't have to be disappointed. Especially surprised was my husband with the spicy chicken which he asked to be extra spicy, so he got hot chilli sauce as a dressing - loved it!
For the dessert we ordered famous fried banana with ice-cream (absolutely lovely 😊) and we also got a complimentary Chinese jasmine-tea, which tasted very good.
So it was our first time to go there and we all felt very welcome to be there. The food was great, stuff very helpful and friendly, excellent service!
Surely to go back to Sunny Bay whenever stop by in Helsinki again.

The Chinese dishes here are of superb taste and quality - even better than the Chinese restaurants found elsewhere in Asia!
The steamed salmon fish is a stand-out - highly recommended. Excellent service and very friendly staff!

We came far from China for a business trip. For about 10 days we hadn't have good Chinese food to fulfill our stomach. Finally we met this restaurant! Every dish is very delicious and the Finnish desert fried banana ice cream is very sweet!

Immediately I walked in I was asked “how can I help you”? Never in my life have been asked that kind of question before when getting in a restaurant, I eat a lot out almost 2 times a week. the restaurant was empty when I got in being on a Saturday at 1600 I had to ask if they were open of course it was. The restaurant was clean. After our main course we waited for almost one hour to get our dessert :(( The first impression really matters and always be remembered. Very bad service.

Clean and cozy restaurant. Nice Finlandia Hall views. Large and cheap buffet lunch. 12 different warm dishes and large variety of sushis only about 10 euros. Relaxing and quiet place. Food was not too oily but it would be nice to have more spices.

We were staying in the Aallonkoti apartments right near the restaurant (highly recommended as well), and went in for dinner on the suggestion of the receptionist at the hotel. We were met with a warm friendly welcome by the staff and made to feel right at home. Really enjoyed the food and the wine (get the house white - reasonably priced and nice). I have to give a shout out to the potato and eggplant in soy sauce dish - the most perfectly cooked potato I have ever enjoyed. I still think about this meal! English menus, and also English spoken by the staff, everything was easy. Go check it out!

We were visiting Helsinki and stumbled on this excellent restaurant on a cold night. We live in another European capital where the Chinese food is not great, so I was not expecting this to be good, but I was pleasantly surprised. They have skilled chefs. The staff and manager/owner were super friendly and welcoming. We ordered off the Chinese menu (lucky I can read Chinese) which was by far the best choice - authentic northern and classic dishes. Our favorite was the pork with pickled cabbage and vermicelli hotpot (suan cai bai rou) which is eaten with fresh garlic and soy sauce, it was amazing. We also really liked the sizzling beef (tie ban niu rou). Chinese tea was complimentary. Generous quantities and nice presentation. It was so good we went back again another night and we also got takeaway. We and our kids were treated with a complimentary banana fritter with ice cream by the generous staff, which was so delicious I am still dreaming about it. I did not have the lunch buffet (we ordered only off the Chinese menu) but it looks ok as well, but maybe a little less authentic as it's more adapted to western tastes. The restaurant is also very comfortable and spacious, with big windows and a pleasant view (not like some dingy dark Chinese cafes in Europe). The price was also similar to Australian prices and affordable for us. I can't wait to go back for another holiday and Sunny Bay dinners!

Only popped in for a quick take-away of spring-rolls but will certainly be back for a meal soon.
Prices seemed to be vary fair, the spring-rolls were crisp and tasty - but the best was the service: perhaps a bit unorganised but the so friendly and smiley it put a smile on my face for hours!
The restaurant has a good location by the fairly new park between the parliament house, music house and the Finlandia house and en-route to the Töölönlahti bay and its park.
