We used to live near the restaurant and go there all the time. Now we live 30mins away but still come here everytime we want nepalese food, cause its just that good! Service always friendly and restaurant clean, though maybe could be a little more...modern?More

Even quality, have eaten food delivered from here way over 20 times. Selection is good, naan has always been just right level of “done”, they have some nice vegetarian options too, like the “leipäjuusto” -one, which, using a Finnish ingredient, for me shows that the...kitchen actually cares about food and is not “just another Nepalese” put up by a random person wanting a generic business idea. I am actually ordering more food from there just now. And service is friendly and they have their regional beers. Works. Try it.More

Definitely the best Nepalese restaurant in Eastern Helsinki. Smaller and little more out of way than the bigger, more known Nepalese places, but definitely worth it. Prawn tandoori is too good to pass up. Even bread is better than what you get in other restaurants.

This place is hidden in suburb, but it is only a ten minutes metro ride to east from Central Railway Station (Station Siilitie). But is is worth of it, absolutely (and you can combine the trip with a visit to Itäkeskus Shopping Mall, it is...the next metro stop). We had a late lunch on Saturday. Not a busy place, neat and clean, friendly service. We tested a seafood (shrimps) and a vegetarian meal (cauliflower & potatoes), both were excellent.More

I had to admit I was a bit skeptical entering Sunkosi; this not an area known for restaurants. First impression was modest and clean. It wasn’t a busy night but there was a constant flow of customers. Food was delicious. I had vegetable soup as...a starter. My main course was tofu and capsicum in tomato, onion, chili and soya sauce. Both were served with naan bread. I was also offered local hard bread with chili sauce to settle in. Very good service, attentive just the right way. The price was the biggest surprise; just around 20 EUR for such a delicious dinner is a steal. There is a metro station in the next block, definitely worth visiting even from a bit further away. There is to-go service and Wolt options as well.More

I visit this place often, it is definitely one of the best nepalese restaurants I have tried in Helsinki. It's handy that you can buy the food to go and I often drive by my car here and take the food with me. The atmosphere...is quite relaxed. Facts: + The food is very tasty and you can see that the owners really appreciate the food. + the portions with 3 chili signs are actually hot, this means it is a real nepalese. + try the mango lassi as a dessert + suits for vegetarian + convenient location near the metro stop - the service should be developed a bit, it is a bit weird sometimes.More

Great experience. Palak Paneer was one of best ever had in Helsinki. I can highly recommend this place. Worth the trip w metro to Siilitie that is 100m away.

Yummy food, excellent service. I try to eat here at least once a month. The location is also convenient, near the Siilitie metro station.
