Nice old-fashioned restaurant right by the seaside. Quite a long walk from the parkingplace and it was a little difficult to find it. The food was well worth the money.

Restaurant is located on small island, 3 km from city center by boat, but ca 11 km by car. It is a yacht club restaurant, dating back to 1952 and open only summer season. Inner decoration is nicely from 1950's, giving nice touch. Location and...decoration gets full 5 stars. Service was good and warm sandwiches were served quickly. They were nice, normal mediocre sandwiches, 3,5 starts. We sat outside, enjoying the nice sunset, however autumn evenings are bit chilly, terrace has blankets available. Summary: if you are by car, this is nice area for evening walk, as restaurant is ca 800m from parking lot.More

This place is for the explorer, needs a brisk 15 min walk through a park from a bus stop or a parking lot. The terrace is on the seaside, great place in the afternoon sun. Food mediocre, wine list, a few basic ones.

On a sunny evening we came to this restaurant by boat. The terrace in the sun was great with a super view to the sea. You order your dishes at the counter and they bring them to your table. Even if the place was full,...we got our food fast. Huge, tasty portions. Reasonable prices. Great evening! PS you can reach the place also by road.More

This restaurant is nice to visit on a sunny day. Recently renovated terrace which offers spectacular view to the sea. Terrace can be a bit chilly on a windy day. Food is average, and service quite slow. It took a half an hour to get...prawn sandwich.More

Looking for something authentic and known mostly by locals only? Pyysaari is a tiny island with docks, marina and a café/restaurant serving classic, hearty Finnish meals. Sometimes there's also fresh fish: check with the staff. The place is charming and food unpretentious and good. You...can take a bus and walk - or come by bike. There's also a parking lot fairly close. The restaurant is open for summer season (end of September) only. Check their website for details. Pro tip: the area is really lovely with lots of greenery and footpaths taking you to forest and rocks above the sea.More

Visiting Pyysaari with my family, we had light lunch which was delicious. Very friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. A bit hard to find if you go by car or by bus (we were walking in the forest quite some time!

This hidden gem has a big terrace right at the sea, friendly service and tasty food in big portions. Really worth the money! On Tuesdays you can see the sailing competition right in front of you. Just great!

Ravintola Pyysaari is located in a tiny little island, where you can walk along the quay from the Tullisaari Park. Take the bus number 88 from Herttoniemi Metro Station. The stop is called "Tullisaari 2" and the journey takes about 12 minutes. In Pyysaari you...can enjoy beautiful sea views and a simple summer food in a cosy atmosphere. Here you can forget the rush and enjoy the silence of nature and fresh air. I highly recommend.More

Since I live close by I have been there several times during several years. Last time 3.8.2013. It's an Pyysaari island but you can go there also walking through forest path or with your own boat. We locals call it Palma de Pyy. It's not...a fancy place by any means but they have a outstanding sunny terrace with a fantastic view. Food portions are huge and I always go for "Hunters Winer Schitzel". Lot of different choices for potatoes. You have to go inside and order/pay for your food, only food is served to tables. This is a gem and I hope it stays same for ever.More
