John is originally from Rwanda. He lives in Finland where he roasts delicious coffees for specialty coffee lovers. John’s Coffee delivers fresh roasted coffee to Offices, Restaurants, Cafes. John’s Coffee website also has online store to it which has all John’s coffee selection available with fast and affordable shipping rates to the entire world. John’s Coffee also has a physical location in Mall of Tripla in Pasila.

I have been before John for Rwanda is a very nice man. Visited now January 2020 and the shop is no longer there. Sad

John from Rwanda is such a radiant personality that he converts even devoted tea drinkers to coffee enthusiasts and doesn't hesitate to teach Finns, worlds number one coffee consumers how to really enjoy the liquid. His small cozy cafeteria on the recently renovated Iso Roba pedestrian street also sells several blends of expertly roasted coffee from selected growers in Africa and other continents. To accompany my strong capuccino I order his delicous home made banana bread.

If you really want a tastful latte made to perfection, this is your place in Helsinki. Forget about all the big coffee chains that taste all about the same and try John's own blends and let me know what you think afterwards.
It's also a very good place to work from...

I had absolutely wonderful coffee at this place and the female staff member was both friendly & knowledgeable.
However, the shop had such an overpowering smell (coffee/incense) that a headache drove me out soonish. I truly hope it was just the one time....!

I have actually been working in Rwanda (Kigali Airport) and have drank many times the delicious locally grown and produced coffee! John has set up a warm a cozy coffee shop here in the middle of Helsinki with exactly the same coffee!
Give it a try - my wife and I are now regulars here...

My favorite coffee shop in Helsinki. Always extremely friendly staff and good coffee. Really comfortable chairs and enough space between tables.

Stopped in for coffee, nice young woman makes her own specialty smoothies, try one. A pleasant place with some outside seating but the street is under construction (August 2017)

We had a lovely coffee and carrot cake here in this small coffee shop. The service was extremely friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.
We will be coming back for more!

This is a small and cozy place with great coffee. I loved that they were the first ones in Helsinki to ask me what kind of milk would I like to have in my latte: oatmeal milk, fat-free milk or the rich milk. When I first visited, they only had old croissants, but now they improved and have fresh sweet and savory snacks as well. I go there after Roba Cafe on the other side of the road closes during the week. Love the fact that the owner is an immigrant from Rwanda.
