An impromptu meal for one which turned out to be great. Started with the dry aged toast and then dry aged sirloin. Small but reasonable wine list and an old fashioned on request. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff

Thank you 🙏
Nice food for a reasonable price. Vegetarian burger is quite tasty and tartar is good. The risotto was a bit off. Overall, a good experience
Purely excellent service and food. The meat was excellent and the desserts heavenly. I can do nothing but recommend the place. 👍
I can be short on this place: it is not my place, I will go somewhere else. To motivate my conclusion: waiting to get in, long waiting times for the service, small portions and overpriced (even for Finnish standards). The quality of the food was...not bad, actually it was pretty good. I had the catch of the day fish. The portion was about 60-80 grams, I think in many restaurants they would have considered it a starter. My rating: 2 out 5.More
Great service and great food! Good location. We spend a wonderful evening here once again. Waiters were so kindfull and nice. We had 3 course menu and everything was so tastefull, especially the dessert that was like all of those tastes made love in my...mouth. We will be back here! #hiddengemMore
Hi Kaj, and thanks for your review! Really nice to hear you had a great evening at Lönkka. See you again next time! :)
Stopped here for a Friday lunch with my daughter. Nice steak and good sallad buffet but what I really enjoyed was the beer to go with the food (Paloaseman panimo, Vasikka IPA) though I had hard time choosing as the 8-bit brewing tap room is...in the same facility. Nice selection of some of the finest local crsft brews. So, either a lunch or just a pint you're after, this is your place.More
Very cool place and atmosphere. Good food and wine. Younger crowd and maybe that’s why it’s a bit more noise, but all in all very nice. I would recommend the flank for sharing - very good! The service has a lot of potential, it was...slow and they forgot the orders. A lot of empty glasses. All in all we were happy, but it could have something to do with all the wine we drank..More
We went here coincidentally, but were surprised by the great service level and the food served in combination with their own beer. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Went here with a party of five. Food was nice but nothing particularly special. Selection of beers is good. Service is friendly but the staff did not seem to know what they are selling or doing. Asked about the house wine, they knew the white grape...but could not remember the red one "because it changes all the time." The soup of the day "was... if it hasn't changed since yesterday" and when asking about dessert wines "it's dessert wine, sweet and you get 8cl's of it". Come on, you work in a restaurant and your job is not only to carry plates. If you don't know you find out!More
I can’t understand how anyone could give a bad review to this restaurant. We had the most amazing food and service provided by great servers. I ordered trout and not only was it incredibly fresh but wonderfully served with terrific wheat berry. Meat choices were...also great. We loved this restaurant. It was colorful, with beautiful and creative decor.More
Lönkka looks nice (but not very special), food was good (but it was I bit boring and tasteless), our waitress was kind, so everything was ok. If you need a restaurant that is ok for everyone and don't want to take a risk, choose Lönkka.
Pretty good food can be ruined by rude waitress and that is exactly what happened to us. So if you want to take a chance of that to happen this is the place.
We went there for some after dinner drinks on a Saturday night with my boyfriend. The atmosphere and design of the place were cosy yet stylish, and the service we received was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend had one of the craft beers on...their list while I had Argentinian red wine, and we both enjoyed our drinks and the lovely atmosphere. We're definitely going to come back!More
Visisted this place early on a Saturday evening. The staff greeted us friendly and were helpful during our visit. The menu had plenty of interesting options ranging many different styles and they had a number of craft beer options available (not the best place in...town for that though). The starters, halloumi and beef tartar, were pretty. The tartar and egg were very good and the flavors and textures went well together. The shared main course of 500g tenderloin was very good and it was prepared exactly to the asked degree. There was plenty of sides, cooked vegetables and potatoes, to go with it. Overall the food and the service left a positive impression of this place. It's not the cheapest dinner option around but it was a pleasure to visit and try out.More
Lovely at atmosphere, friendly waitress, tasty food and great choice of draft beer! Ideal for casual dinner/ meet-ups :D
