Valentine dinner

A real peace of Italy in Helsinki. No cheap decoration, just a small cozy room with some 10 tables. Somehow the atmosphere is Italian without emphasizing. The starters, we tried three different were all first class, and the lamb chops reminded me to a marvellous dinner in Sassari, Sardegna! Delighted both white and red typical Sardegnian wines were found in the wine list. A lemon sorbet perfected the experience, not to forget a fantastic espresso. Service was friendly, available in english, finnish, and of course Italian, not too fast or slow, leaving a feeling that just you are the valued customer.

Food is always 5/5

Have visited this place dozens of times. The food is always 5/5 and the staff very friendly. However, lately the servings have gotten much smaller, so that a starter and a pasta for main course will likely live you hungry. The pizzas have not gotten smaller, but pastas definitely have. The restaurant is quite small so I would recommend to book a table before hand.

Romantic Dinner / Romanttinen illallinen

We've had about 100 romantic dinners all around the world including many italian restaurants. We were hugely positively surprised for our nice dinner here. The food was great and the service was at least as great. It's fantastic to find an intimate italian family restaurant nearby Helsinki City Center. We would very much recommend their caprese, tortellini and tiramisu. My beautiful wife was very pleased to have a non-alcoholic Prosecco. Even though the wine list was short, I was pleased to have a nice glass of white wine and red wine. The interior and the atmosphere were pleasant. Nice piece of Italy in Helsinki. For couples, we recommend table #4. Olemme vaimon kanssa viettäneet noin 100 romanttista illallista ympäri maailmaa mukaanlukien monia italialaisia ravintoloita. Olimme suuresti positiivisesti yllättyneitä mukavasta illallisesta täällä. Ruoka oli loistavaa ja palvelu vähintään yhtä hyvää. On fantastista löytää intiimi italialainen perheravintola Helsingin keskustan läheisyydestä. Suosittelemme ehdottamasti capresea, tortellinia ja tiramisua. Naudan sisäfilekin oli loistavaa. Kaunis vaimoni oli mielissään, kun tarjolla oli myös alkoholitonta Proseccoa. Vaikkakin viinilista oli lyhyt, sieltä löytyi herralle maistuvat valkoviini- ja punaviinilasilliset. Good food, but service friendliness - not so much

They have good food, went 3 times for lunch since last week, especially pastas are good, though not impressed with entrecote steak I ordered. It's a cozy deco in the restaurant as well. But the service friendliness could be improved, greeting your customers would be a good start, especially neighbours/customers who come to pick up food, come for lunch and were about to become a regular. Somehow doesn't feel good to go there, even though the food is good. There are better Italian restaurants in Helsinki, more authentic Italian food also with a nice atmosphere and staff, though on the other side of town.

Tasty pizza but cramped interior

This restaurant was located near our hotel. So we decided to have dinner here and booked a table beforehand. The interior is small and the tables are very close together. We got our table in the middle. Luckily, the place was not full but behind our table was a small child coughing all the time. So it was not the most pleasant experience because of the corona pandemic. I know that it is not the restaurant's fault that this family with a sick child decided to come and have dinner. The food was good and the service was excellent.

Italianissimo!

The starters were suberb! As second course we had grigliata di carne per due. As expected, it was too much for an elderly couple. The ripasso suggested was perfect. Again, this closer to an Italian is difficult to get in Finland.

Absolutely recomend. Tasty and very polite. I recommend going with children as well, you can negotiate child-sized pizzas, very warm atmosphere

New favourite in town

Compact and tranquil setup with excellent service. The food was simply very tasty meeting all our expectations. So nice to see the respect for authentic "La cucina italiana".

Undercooked and not so tasty risotto, but great pizza though. The place is very clean, but the interior is however somewhat outdated. There are better Italian places in Helsinki all in all, in my opinion.

Nice Italian restaurant closeby Scandic Meilahti. Pizza, pasta, bruschetta, soups. I had the cozze soup and the bruschetta. Tasted good. Prices oké for Helsinki.

Excellent pizza, nice atmosphere

This place is fabulous. I would not expect a restaurant this nice in this area! Was so luckily surprised. The pizza was excellent and the decoration fine. Really enjoyed. Will come again. And so happy they serve food pretty late. Very nice.
