My wife and I called in here whilst staying at the nearby Crowne Plaza
We ordered a dish each and when it arrived we were pleasantly surprised to have rice, naan bread, a bit of salad and some sauce
The food was very tasty and...served very quickly.
I would recommend this place for a different type of dishMore
The weather last sunday was great and also the food too! Me and my friend took the ”eat-week’s” special two plates combained and my sister ate the palak paneer-dish. We’ve been visiting the restaurant since the beginning of the year, that’s our favourite nepalese restaurant...so far!
Unfortunately on the next day we all caught the norovirus...More
We visited for quick lunch. Waiter was welcoming and attentive. We had two types of thalies and they both were nice, portions weren’t too small and mid range price was affordable. We possibly would visit again if we were around.
The food was simple but it was extremely tasty. I loved the daal and rice - I wish I could go again just to eat that. The naan was great too. You get rice, daal, salad and naan with every curry ordered. Really good value...for money! The paneer tikka was not spicy at all - that would the only complaint but it was still tasty.More
This is the first Nepalese restaurant I have ever been to and it was well worth the wait. It is cheap by Helsinki standards, but the standard of their fare is superior to many of their more expensive competitors. Their servings are generous with papadams,...naan bread, rice and dips included in the price of a curry. A bottle of wine is inexpensive, with a half litre of Lapin Kulta (local beer) coming in at around 5.20 euros, which it must be stressed, is competitively priced. Lukla Ravintola will not disappoint, quality or monetarily wise!More
In Helsinki many restaurants are closed on Sunday, but this one was open. In addition we had seen Nepalese restaurants all over Finland and were curious about the food. It was similar to Indian, well prepared and very flavorful. There was plenty of food that...came with the meal including a cracker like bread, naan, daal, salad and rice. Service was attentive, but we were never rushed. The restaurant also did a good bit of carry out business so it seemed to be popular with locals. Definitely a good choice for dinner and I would recommend it.More
