I always have doubts about ‘legend’ places to eat often feeling disappointed. Fazer was anything but. Fantastic produce, unbelievable cakes and chocolate and very good value. Even an impromptu fire alarm couldn’t put a dampener on it. Defo a not miss spot when in Helsinki

I just can't pass the Karl Fazer Cafe without going in and having a coffee and some candy. The place feels (and is) steeped in history. Always full of people and many tasty desserts. Note that by the evening the baked croissants etc can be...a little less freshly-baked than you'd want. It also has a very limited number of non-desserts. A few salads. So you really need to go there only for a dessert :)More

We went for a quick breakfast but were a bit disappointed; the inside is not really nice, it is very standard and doesn’t feel warm/cosy at all. Coffee was allright but not the best I’ve ever had; pastries were good and they seemed to have...a nice choice of sandwiches too. To try but not the best place in townMore

You can see a fazer cafe in almost everywhere in the city area. A nice cafe to rest and recharge in the midst of shopping. They serve a variety of cakes and also seasonal one that is only available for a specific period. Generally, all...are good. Needless to say, Faser chocolates are also available for purchase in the cafe.More

Sadly this iconic Café is a bit outdated. Chairs and sofas are worn-out. The place would need a decent fresh-up and eg tablecloths to return its glamour. However, the service, coffee, Tea and cakes were delicious.

You can’t miss it, and you shouldn’t. This cafe (or one of its many other outposts in Finland) is a must for satisfying your dessert/pastry/coffee/sweet fix. I visited on a very tight budget, but the croissant I ordered was divine. I think I ordered something...more, but for the life of me, I can’t remember! Grr. I used to have a good memory! Either way, you can’t go wrong with anything here. - Prices are very reasonable. Wifi is free. - Seating is available both indoors and outdoors at this particular location. It rests along a bustling pedestrian street, which allows for a huge area for setting tables and chairs. The place is BUSY, but as other reviewers have said, don’t let that deter you. There is plenty of space to sit. - Service is extremely friendly. Staff all speak excellent English (as is the case in much of Helsinki), and no matter the circumstances, help is always available when needed. - The cafe is clean and well-maintained. The vibe is sleek, upscale, and dark, yet still inviting and mesmerizing. It’s an unforgettable establishment. Thanks for serving me! I can’t wait to be back and order even more—I have a sizable sweet tooth!More

Our first place in Helsinki was Karl Fazer Cafe just few metres away from Sibelius monument. The cinnamon bun was class, soft and perfect blend to make it one of my best buns. Then came turn of Hot Chocolate with whip cream, so different to...one's you get in other parts of the world. The temperature was perfect and again right amount of chocolate to make it my best hot chocolate drink till dateMore

Super busy but the very best desserts in town!! A must visit place if you love desserts. Try the Fazer Finnish specialties; kinuski kakku, Bebe leivos, sacher-kakku, munkki etc. You will not regret the calories, which you can walk off in no time around Helsinki.
