Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We tried the new lunch buttet today and it was amazing: sag paneer (vegetarian), butter chicken, ginger lamb, great naan bread, raita, 2 different rice choices, salad bar and coffee or tea for 10,50 euros - all you can eat!!! And everything was very tasty and fresh. Lunch is served Mo-Fri between 10.30-15.00 and after that they have great portions on the a la carte menu. When we visited the place was full, however the personnel were extremely friendly and all hot dishes were hot and tasty and everything was fresh. Mount Nepal is a great, cosy small restaurant with good food.

Hi, this is my 3rd visit of this weekend place. So You I came back.
Maybe the restaurant is a bit older, but food is OK. Service is as is.
Anyhow, I can recommend to eat something nice.

Good kitchen and very tasty food. Affordable for lunch or ala carte. Nepalese staff, good service. If you like Indian/Nepalese, this is a good choice. With family or friends.

Just ok food, anyway on the better side. Service was quite slow and the personnel spent most of their time on cell phone.

We took GARLIC KHASI KARAHI and PRAWN CHILLI.
With Naan-bread, spicy-herb-youghurt and spicy salsa-style-sauce. All were well done and absolutely great (for a take away food). The service was friendly and fast!

First time for me to visited place where are served Nepal dishes. Masala was excellent, as well served with special bread. If next time I will visit Tapiola definitely this restaurant will on the list. Great place for vegan and vegetarian.

Ordered Bhindi masala (Okra) and naan bread. Taste wise it was good. Okra was not soft enough but ok to eat. It could have been more fresh. Naan was very good. Good place to visit.

My first time in this restaurant in Tapiola near the house of culture. The place doesn't look attractive outside but we thought to try the food anyway. The service was friendly. There was very hot inside. I chose bhindaloo chicken which was indicated as very spicy meal. I can tell that it wasn't spicy at all and tasted not good - as you could think a chicken vindaloo should taste. That's sad, really. I tasted chicken korma , too, but it wasn't unfortunately any better. The naan- bread was cold and hard, too. Hopefully there would be a good explanation to these unlucky meals, because I can't recommend anyone this restaurant. You can find really good nepalese restaurants in Helsinki which are totally in different level. Do not spend your money here.

Having lunch or dinner always very good. Service is friendly, place is a litlle bit worn out but no matter the food is sooo good. And also if you order very hot you'll get one, otherwise than in many other nepalese restaurants. Will recommed and always will return.

This place is conviniently placed amid Tapiola's main business district, walkable from Stockmann, Tapiola Helmet Library and cultural center. The place is cozy, warm and comfortable, with Nepali-Indian ambience all around.
To the uninitiated, there is no difference between Nepali and Indian cuisine, barring few soups. It is a pure North Indian restaurant with veg and non-veg options fully available. With every sabji (vegetable) you order, one free Naan, rice, pickle and raita is available. This usually fills up full range of Indian taste. Food is served fresh and hot.
the quantity is more than enough even if you order single dish.
This place is never empty, always bustling more often than not with non-Indians visiting to devour Indian flavors and spicey.
Definitely worth visiting with family, again and again.

Mount Nepal looks more like a diner than a dining restaurant but if you get over that, the large menu with tasty dishes is all you need. I visited there on a late Sunday afternoon: the place was 2/3 full and there were no issues with the speed of service. A special mention about the beer selection that blends nicely with the Nepalese cuisine.
Note that the lunch menu offers excellent value for money (pretty much standard prices of around 10 EUR). The dinner menu is easily more than twice as expensive but still quite competitive with the other casual dining establishments in the neighbourhood.
