Food was overall excellent. Starters and main courses were really good. Salmon soup was really tasty. Schnitcels were more than expected. Atmosphere and location by the sea is magical.

The atmosphere was very annoying because of the promo photos taken during our whole dinner. In Friday night you’d like to enjoy your dinner without wathing other people working next to you.
Expensive. Unprofessional staff. ”Gas station” level food. A beautiful venue without substance. We have visited a fee times since its opening, wanting this place to be the spot we could always go to with family, as a couple, with friends. Each time has been a...disappointment. Not a gentle and slightly unfortunate disappointment that could be put to some temporary mishap. Food quality varies drastically. At its best the food is nowhere near worth its value. Staff has always been lost, dazed and confused, unprepared, forgetful, and often seem as if surprised to find themselves working as staff in a restaurant. Prices are high. The venue itself is beautiful, which is the only reason the restaurant has some customers, none of whom can be of the returning kind.More
Had the privilege to participate a party with pre-booked 3-courses lunch in Haukilahden Helmi. It was sad to experience how terrible the food was, especially the main course (fish), which was overcooked and oversalted. Also the service was poor, in our table group, two person...got their vegetarian food without dressing, which was then served with 10min delay, and one dish was not served at all until complained and served after everyone else were already finished.More
I enjoyed a lunch of siika and potatoes in a delicious herb dressing. The portion was not cheap, but it was perfectly prepared and very tasty. The portion was not a small one, so all in all the price to quality was very good. Very...enjoyable experience on the terrace by the sea and sailing boats.More
Had I written this review four days earlier it would have been at least four stars, now two. Why? Since my previous Pasta Arrigatore (Hummeripasta) had been so delicious and rich I chose to order it again, together with my wife. We were thorougly disappointed...when the pasta was very dry and the number of tiger shrimps only about half (4) as compared to four days earlier. We complained about the lack of lobster sauce which was spelled out on the menu and got the answer from their kitchen that last time had been a mistake and this was exactly as it was supposed to be! Our waitress was clearly embarrassed and admitted she agreed with us, but message from kitchen was adamant. In local language and on our receipt it read "lobster pasta" or "hummeripasta". There was not even a hint of lobster in the taste, as opposed to previous experience. So, if you feel like gambling, visit this place, but beware of their audacity. The location is beautiful in a lovely marina.More
Buffet lunch was not worth the money. Salad table was rich in rice and couscous. Only green salad and water melon. Fried herring was raw inside. Vegetable dish was not tasty at all. The atmosohere is nice but but it does not compensate the quality...of the food.More
We had a christmas dinner. Some of the starters were pretty ok as well as dessert. Overall price vs quality was rather poor.
We wanted to give a 2nd chance to this restaurant, and now it gave us delicious food, excellent service and perfect view to the harbour.
The (rather expensive) trout was appropriately cooked, but served without the warm potato salad and lemon sauce mentioned on the menu. Instead, some watery fruit pieces were the only accompaniment. No mention, no apology... The gewürz-chardonnay blend wine was tasty. The specifically ordered HOT Irish...Coffee was sadly LUKEWARM. Service at kitchen closing was prompt.. Sad that this attractive location joint never lives up to any quality restaurant decency.More
We ate seabass, but it was not well cooked. The waitresses seemed to be very stressed and tired. We payed 35 eur per food, so toi much for not well grilled fish and poor service.
Nice venue, bad service and below average burger for premium price. The patty was dry, sautéed onion was forgotten. First waiter didn’t do anything about it. Second waiter apologized and brought a small bowl of onion. All in all a disappointment.
Had entrecôte with meat that was more suited to being roasted! Lots of fat! Accompanied with tasteless broccoli. Far too expensive for what it is.
We have been there with our boat but beautiful sunshine and spring was the reason we decided go there now. Place is really nice and especially in summertime one of my favourite places. Take a quick bite, glass of wine or eat three courses menu,...everything goes. Nothing fancy but tasty and reasonable prices. And the sea with sailing boats, what more you can need?More
The renovated pavilion restaurant is absolutely one of my favourite new places in the Espoo-Helsinki area. The dishes are not only tasty but interesting, and for example the parsley root starter was one of the most delicious veg dishes I've ever had in Finland. The...service was fine and polite, my wife's questions regarding her dietary restrictions were dealt with care, and overall the atmosphere was nice and peaceful even with a reasonably full restaurant. The location is also amazing, and, to tell the truth, earlier it was the only reason to visit the place before the new restaurant took over – the difference is drastic. Finally Haukilahti harbour has the restaurant it deserves. All-in-all, one of the best price-to-quality ratios in Finland, best in Espoo.More
