Delicious food. The service was friendly and we got the orders delivered quite quickly. The was enough options for the whole family, kids and also a glutein free guest.

My first Nepalese meal! We went in for lunch...its a busy place,mainly for the office workers from nearby. A bif formal too,theough some seats are slide-ins! How ever,i expected something different from any other spicy food that i have had before, but..naah. Had a lamb/prawn...choice... The spice was not noticeable....what i had was more Indian than anything else,(and am a big fan of Indian food,especially because its spicey) So,as my hosts were telling how its one of the best restaurants in Oulu,i was busy trying to see,know and taste as to why they'd say its one of the best!! Personally,i'd say,its ok. Theres a mini buffet for the starter's,then the main is served at the table..theres also a tea/coffee station. The portions for the main are generous though,so,thats a plus. You can visit,but no regrets if its not the go-to list.More

We stopped on our roadtrip in Oulu just to eat. Checked from Tripadvisor the restaurants and picked this based on reviews. Excellent choise. We had Makhani. It was sooo deliciouss. Also the naan bread was good. Prooably the best nepalese food I have had.

The food was very tasty and service nice.I would recommend to book a table in advance. Might be too spicy for small kids, no kids menu available.

Sauraha deserves praise. The quality of the food is of a high standard. The dishes are authentic and the naan bread is done to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My daughter recommended this place, she said that tandoori salmon is amazing. She was right : it is so good! It comes to the table sizzling hot accompanied with beautiful rice, Naan bread and beautiful yoghurt sauce. Perfect meal.

Food and service are excellent every time, sometimes it takes quite long from order to the moment that you get the food. That will take away one star.

Our group had an excellent dinner at Sauraha on our way back South. Food was tasty, staff very service oriented and price-quality-quantity ratio was excellent. Our group had various lamb and chicken dishes.
