Amazing and authentic Indian food. The dishes are all hand made and the cooks can modify the dishes according the customers wishes. Suoer friendly service staff. One of the Best indian restaurants in Finland!

Amazing Indian food

Best Indian we have ever had, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Great service and great food, love that the children meals were milder, smaller portions, our kid loved the food. Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent food!

While in town for the Irish Festival, myself and three friends had a great meal here. We had been unable to get a table elsewhere, so I rang here on the off-chance, and enquired in my rusty Finnish if they could accomodate us. We went straight there, and were delighted! Our waiter was extremely helpful and knowledgable. We were all amazed that each dish came also with basmati rice and naan bread, and a plate of tasty poppadums with chutney and chili sauce came straight away. Portion sizes were very generous, and I suspect that 3 dishes between the four of us would have sufficed: none of us liked to waste such tasty food. Unfortunately, one of our orders was mistaken (with the chicken version coming instead of the vegetable), and so the one vegetarian in our group was unable to partake of the fourth dish. Although I didn't have the lassi, I am reliably informed by my friend that it was among the best she had ever had. I will definitely return on my next trip!

Best indian food u can get!! 🔥🤝

I have eaten here many times, best and most authentic indian food you can get. Restaurant is near to railway station, so if u dont have much time and wanna enjoy, go to Garam Masala! There is lunch buffet, (aproxm 10.30-14.00?) where you can taste different meats etc. Their chili fish, with fresh naan, raita sauce and chili sauce (what is in the tavle) are magical combo, I could eat that everyday! The owner and staff are really friendly and nice. 5/5 to Garam Masala! 👌

Lovely authentic home cooked Indian food, the best in Oulu possibly.

We happen to have chosen the right restaurant, cozy, not very big only about 6 4 person tables but the service is excellent and fine Indian dining. Knowledgeable about the food, patient service and taking the time to explain and great help in choosing the menu selections, flexible in adjusting the spiciness of the ingredients. Absolutely when we travel to Oulu again we will it at the same place. Thanks for the great experience.

Best indian food

I can confirm the quality and excellent taste of food served here. When compared with other indian restaurants, I visited, this one is clearly the best in terms of taste balancing. Here you can taste a perfect blend of all the intended flavours. Secondly, the service was excellent. We were dining there during weekend, so lunch menu was not available. But still we were offered seconds (they were not needed as the amount of food was perfectly enough). Also the waiter was attentive and informed us that if the food is too spicy or too mild he could exchange it for a different version, more adjusted to our taste. Again this was not needed as the food was perfectly balanced

Excellent in every way

We went here for a lunch. There were variety of options to choose from, and they were super delicious. The moment we stepped in we felt welcomed and every employee made sure we felt it the whole time we visited the place. Most friendliest people and the most delicous and fulfilling lunch in a while!

Perfect experience in every way

I was so happy to step into this cosy little restaurant. I immediately felt the warm welcome. It was like I was travelling again. The food is absolutely delicious. The service is really so incredibly friendly that I wanted to stay forever and kiss the guy for the personal touch all the way from stepping in to stepping out. I will be here again and again and again. A real gem. Worth going out of your way to eat and feel happy here. I love the personal Indian touch.

Cozy and delicious

Excellent cozy indian restaurant close to the train station with a central location. The service was warm and welcoming and the food very comforting and cozy. Thank you. I had the palak paneer (rice and naan included) and a chai. Huippu ravintola Oulun keskustassa rautatieaseman läheisyydessä. Lämmin ja ystävällinen palvelu. Henkilökunta selkeästi välittää asiakkaistaan. Ruoka oli juuri mitä kaipasin täyttävää ja hyvää. Kiitos!

Mouthwatering Indian dishes just across the street from the Oulu railway station

I made a brief visit to this small, cozy Indian restaurant before the departure of my train, and I gotta say, I was actually impressed by it. The food was surprisingly delicious and the staff was super friendly and talkative. Extra points for fresh naan bread and a tasty dessert. If I had had more time I would've stayed here longer for sure!

Tasty food 👍

Looking for somewhere to eat with tasty food. Busy little restaurant, staff were great. Interested in where we had come from and happy to feed some who liked spicy food. Very good Indian and the tastiest food we have had in Finland Reasonable prices but we ate too much !

Garam Masala Restaurant Review

Best Indian Restaurant in Oulu. We went in the super cold December night. But it was a memorable dinner. The food is tasty and the quantity is good. The owner and the chef is very friendly. Great hospitality.

Excellent Indian food and really nice service, 5/5 dinner. Had Tandoori chicken and tofu, big portions with loads of naan, just perfect to fill you up :)
