Lunch At the middle of the week. Most of the places were full. We managed to get a table from Harald without reservation and with just a few minutes wait. Staff was extremely friendly as well. I ordered pork with a signature smoky beer. Pork...was slow cooked to perfection. Just right amount of fat in it. Also sides were cooked properly, not too mushy. Seasoning was professionaly done.
We enjoyed the lunch very much. Left would full bellies and happy minds. Would recommend without hesitation. 10/10 for the Oulu’s Harald restaurantMore
I always try to go to a Viking restaurant Harald, if there one in the town I visit. I have so far visited one in Lahti, Turku and now in Oulu. I like their style of restaurants. This time I ordered a Black Angus beef....I thought that I should get a whole beef, but instead it was shredded meat. It was OK, but I should prefer a whole beef. And they had a strange way to bring the beer; the beer bottle was in the drinking mug. How hygienic can that be? And you had to pour the beer in to the mug yourself. Friendly staff and cozy interior.More
We were served by a very nice waitress who helped us chose drinks. She offered suggestions which was a great help. I ended up with a cinnamon flavored beer which was amazing!
Food was incredible. We got the sword to share and there was more...than enough food. We even got the option of have meat both medium for myself and medium-rare for my boyfriend which was great. It was well cooked and worth money.
Dessert was great, particularly the pancake!
Will definitely visit againMore
Appetizers were surprising and tasty, we had mushroom soup and hummus with bread. Both tasty. We chose The Sword for main course and it was generous on size, not so much on taste but it was alright. For dessert we took the huge dessert shield....We were four and the portion is for two to share but we couldn’t finish the portion after appetizers and main. Portion sizes are huge. We took appetizers and main for three to share and we were absolutely stuffed. Chocolate cake is delicious!More
It's a chain restaurant. It's a poor man's version of Medieval Times. The food isn't anything to brag about. It's okay but the viking -theme feels just a bit... silly. I've been here for a lunch couple of times and dinner maybe twice. For some...reason it appeals to many people - not so much to me.More
This is good place especially if you want to have time with friends.
Atmosphere is so cosy and nice.
Food is tasty and fresh. Everything is done like in old times and it gives own speciality for this place.
I think if you go there,...you wont dissapoint.More
