Custom pizza to share

These pizzas are big. Big enough to share with a friend. We enquired if we could make our own (using the menuu options) and have one half for me and the other for friend. They accommodated our request and we had enough food for a meal in the choice of our topping on one pizza (which they cut in half for us). Nice choice of wines and overall lovely dining expereince.

Oddly quiet but best pizza in Ruka

We went to the higher rated Pizzeria Ruka earlier in the week but found Classic Pizza to be a better pizza than that. Staying in the ski-inn Ruka village apartments made this a much more convenient location as its only a few steps away. Had the Finnish minced beef pizza and asked for extra pepperoni, which to my amazement, they never charged me for. A welcome gesture. We went around 6pm and it was scarcely populated, which now surprises us. Well worth a visit.

Great service and delicious pizzas

Classic Pizza restaurant has great service and an interesting menu. Have you ever heard of pizza covered by alpine wurstels? Never the less the pizza tasted great. Also pizza vegetarian was a good choise. The service was smooth and frendly. We would definately visit again.

Welcoming and friendly

Service/staff were excellent. Good choice of menu at a reasonable price, and good pizzas (thin and crispy style here). Very good in every way, just need a wood fired oven now (but better than Pizzeria Ruka as they are!)

Earl Italiaan dinner

After skiing at 5.30 directly for an early dinner to Classic Pizza in the centre of Ruka. Great pizza’s made with fresh ingrediënts! We had the nummer 18 and 20, with a lovely salad with crispy bacon and goat cheese. Accompanied with a nice Sangiovese! Service was nice and quick.

Disappointed

Totally tasteless pizza. Can not recommend this pizza place. Last time I ordered take away pizza and it was burnt and now disappointed for taste. Service was excellent and waitress did her best try get us satisfied.

Pizza was delicious, staff were lovely. Really nice little restaurant with a buzzy atmosphere! So good we came back for more!

Amazing pizzas, friendly staff!

When is a pizza not just a pizza? When you get it from Classic Pizza, Ruka! Bigger than you plate, thin irregular bases, these are proper pizzas not dough with some cheese and tomatoes thrown on top! Recommend the “Hang Over” if you like a meaty spicy pizza!! Reasonable selection of beers and ciders too!! Staff are also super friendly and helpful! A must in Ruka....

Excellent food and service!

Dined here while in Ruka on holiday and was impressed by the service and quality of the food - from ordering food to it arriving at the table was very quick! Will definitely be back again!!!!!
