The staff were helpful. The food was average. Salmon sashimi a bit tasteless just as salmon-avocado uramaki. The wok was good 4.5/5. They have water dispenser, and reusable chopsticks!! You pay when you approach cashiers on your own. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, however menu was a bit limited.

One of the best sushis we've had. Fresh ingredients and a fresh touch on costumer service as well. The atmosphere in all was very cozy and relaxing. On top of that, the manager was very friendly and welcoming and genuinely interested to meet us and spend some time chatting with us as well. We also tried the shrimp dim sums and the wok, and everything tasted pure and excellent. Sushis are handmade, which is also worth mentioning. 7 out of 5 stars!!! We'll be most definitely coming back to HIMO on our next visit to Rovaniemi. Highly, highly recommended.

I ate here twice and enjoyed the food on both occasions. The staff were friendly, attentive and offered helpful advice with dairy and egg allergies and vegan options. Very good prices and a helpful website including a menu with prices. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Chicken and reindeer ramen bowls were disgusting. Frozen meat, instant dried noodles-- not ramen noodles, awful broth plus it's overpriced - 20euro for reindeer ramen. Rip off!! Dont go here.. waste of money..We barely touched our ramen bowls as didnt look appetizing and tasted awful.

The only western lady who works there is not friendly at all. Do not allow wishes or diets. For the vegetarian ramen she charges the top price that is charged for ramen with beef. If you say something about it, she keeps shaking her head no. Ultimately, we had to pay the amount for ramen with pork through another employee.
Horrible service and the food is certainly not tasty either. Had delicious ramen in Japan, this one smelled like piss

The restaurant across the street was full so they recommended HIMO. We loved it! I had the Ramen noodles with reindeer meat. It was perfect. The noodles were delicious, the meat was tasty and the broth was so savory. Everything about the meal and the service was great

Came here for dinner because we were really missing Asian food, and Restaurant HIMO definitely exceeded our expectations. The sushi was authentic, dim sum was amazing and wok fried rice was as good as what we would have back home. We enjoyed the food so much we returned within the week to have more before we left Rovaniemi! Definitely worth a trip for anyone who misses Asian food / wants to try some great food overall!
Must try: (sweet and sour) ribs, wok fried rice with pork, sushi!!

Was sushi restaurant but now offer pasta. Worst food I ate in resturant for a long time. Kind of pop-up restaurant without any professionalism. Same pasta with different sauce! Bolognese without ant taste but worst was the truffle pasta. No natural truffle but made by truffle oil which is complete chemical. We order tiramisu for desert, I don't know how to named what they serve as tiramisu. I mean if even you did ever eat pasta in restaurant, you can't like it.

We had a fantastic meal after a long day of snow play in Rovaniemi. The ribs were excellent, and the wok dishes very tasty. We even ordered a second round of food to follow the first! If you enjoy Asian cuisine, you will be pleased.

We decided to try this place as the reviews were good, they were right! We had pork dim sum and they were very tasty. The california rolls were fresh and tasted lovely. We also had Chicken fried rice, which again was really good. Portion sizes are very reasonable. The owner was very friendly. If you are looking for good Japanese food in Rovaniemi, this is the place to go too!

We loved the food here. Lots of choices and super delicious! On the first night we had ramen, chicken fried rice and ribs. All awesome. Came back for takeaway sushi and dimsum the next night. The staff were very friendly and the food hit the spot.

This is a good break from all the reindeer and salmon you’ll find everywhere - a cute place but the food is good, warm and the crew are nice and kind. It’s not amazing hut it’s a good break from the meaty food you would have to eat otherwise. Perfect for minus temperatures.

Staff was lovely, food came quick and tasted delicious! Very good value for money. Main food was Reindeer Ramen which combined Finnish and Asian kitchen very well.

Chef tri was excellent- we ordered dinsums and since they got over, he actually went to the market to look for veggies.. and then when he couldn’t find it , he made us a special vegetarian ramen which was delicious- highly reccomend it..

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Terrific host. Tried the ribs (recommended!) - delicious! Yum 👏👏👏 Sashimi so fresh and sushi platter was excellent. Great experience. Reasonable wines. Great choice. 👌
