Good quality and quantity food as 5 star restaurant 👌. We tried fish and chips (very fresh fish and chips),salmon soup,reindeer sanwich, beef steak.the bread i got with soup was yummy and spread too nice very soft snfmd velvety. Highly recommended. I missed to try ( already full tummy )pork overnight cooked and reindeer fillet from there.give a try

We stopped here for a quick last meal before our flight back. Quite a few restaurants in Rovaniemi are closed on the Sunday so were grateful to find a spot at the Ravintola.
The salmon soup was hearty and delicious and warmed us up after a full day of hiking in the snow. The portions of chips and halloumi fries were also generous.

Found this place thanks to Trip Advisor. Other travelers had ranked it highly and it did not disappoint. Food was great! We had the salmon lemon ginger risotto and salmon soup and both were delicious, as was the dessert we had. Charming and casual atmosphere. Wonderful service.

The fish and chips were simply outstanding, perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful fish inside. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal.
Roka is clearly a popular spot, and it’s easy to see why. The friendly staff and inviting ambiance make it a must-visit when in Rovaniemi. Highly recommended!

10/10 incredible meal! We shared a salad that had the best goat cheese ever! I had the salmon with risotto and it was so tasty and just the best flavor. My husband has the salmon soup and he said it was delicious as well! The rye bread with the soup and butter was out of this world!

Super central place in Rovaniemi, a thousand points in favor since it is open for lunch until 22 including dinner unlike the others that for lunch are either closed or at 14 close. Delicious food, quality and beautiful even aesthetically! So good that we came back twice in 5 days! I recommend a lot

You couldn't have asked for a more perfect salmon soup. Plenty of fish, tasty potatoes and wonderful broth!! In addition, toasted island bread and that foamed, browned butter... We accidentally googled the place on the drive south, but it is certain that we will slow down on this point on our next trips as well. The service was also really good and attentive. And coffee!! Lovely too! Thank you ❤️

Our last night, a sunday night, before flying home again, we would like to eat in Rovaniemi.
In Finland most restaurants and shops are closed on sunday.
At the reception of our hotel they told us, this restaurant was open.
She ordered by phone a table for 2 persons and called for a taxi to bring us to this restaurant.
When we arrived at this place, indeed a table for 2 was ready.
It's a burger and streetfood cafe and looked good.
We had a nice dry wine and ordered " flavours of the north for two ".
It looked very good and also tasted very good. Because our flight was early in the morning, we just wanted good food, not a whole evening dinner.
Well, this was the right choise. The Lapland bread and the salmon were delicious.
Also the salmon mousse was very good.
My husband enjoyed the the reindeer-meat to.
After a cup of coffee they called a taxi for us to go to the hotel for having a few hours sleep.
It was really a good idea to go to this place !

Any expectations I may have had were blown out of the water. An incredible experience from our first step through the door. The kindness of the staff, and the quality of the food are unparalleled and the best we’ve experienced in our time visiting Finland so far.
The salmon soup is A MUST!! Order their side of fresh bread as a side to dip. Perfect to share.
We also had the The salmon risotto and the beefwich with fries. Everything was prepared to perfection.
We rounded off our meal with some rhubarb ice cream.
Everything was well balanced, thoughtfully prepared and the ingredients were so fresh.
We’ll be back the next time we have the chance to make it to Rovaniemi. Thanks Roma for the great experience and food!

The Roka is a bistro with a very varied menu - we were so impressed that we even ate there twice. The starter platter with Lapland specialties is highly recommended. We then had fish'n'chips, which were absolutely excellent. The second time we tried a burger and the veal whale bugare. Both were also absolutely great. The service is very friendly and quick.
We were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Roka has a small, intimate atmosphere, where reservations would be helpful. We popped in Sunday evening around 6pm. Luckily the window tables were available.
The service was excellent, with just one waitress/hostess and 1 chef. They are able to serve the whole restaurant pretty well.
The food is excellent, we started with Flavors of the North, a sampling of local meats, the salmon is so fresh, like sushi. Then we both got the salmon soup, really broth and flavorful. It filled us up!
The wines pair well with their dishes, and it shows a lot of attention is given to each and every dish. The chef even catches his own fish that he serves!
This place is great and very popular.

My choice for a Starter was "arctic char cheviche* which was really rich in flavor thanks for the brine. Ten point to the chef if the fish was self-angled/ice-fished!
The main course was more traditional steak since I was quite hungry and wanted to bet safe. Good size, Well prepared with a regular Red wine sauce.
Nice cozy and youngish atmosphere. Really helpful, active and friendly ndly service. Would return, certainly.

Superb discovery in Rovaniemi for our last evening. The limited menu is a guarantee of quality for fine and delicious dishes. We had the salmon soup and the pumpkin risotto, a treat. The desserts are also excellent. Vanilla arancini and pana cotta with cloudberry jam (arctic blackberry).

We had dinner here on a Monday night and we took the roasted salmon and ginger-lemon risotto. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly.
It was quite busy in the restaurant and several people had to wait for a table, but I think it's worth it.
