My choice for a Starter was "arctic char cheviche* which was really rich in flavor thanks for the brine. Ten point to the chef if the fish was self-angled/ice-fished! The main course was more traditional steak since I was quite hungry and wanted to bet...safe. Good size, Well prepared with a regular Red wine sauce. Nice cozy and youngish atmosphere. Amazing food and staff really kind! This restaurant is quite small, I recommend to book a day in advance. My fiancé and I shared a mix finnish appetizer, reindeer fillet with amazing sides and last but not least pork and chips. Had a lovely night here. We were looking for some local cuisine, but the popular restaurants were already booked up (on a cold Monday night in February). We tried Roka, way off the main street, and although it was full, the first waitress said that...if we could wait 15 minutes, a long table for 4 should became available and she’d keep it for us. True to her word, the table became available and she called us in. Between us, we had two different risottos and salmon soups and Arctic char (fish). All very nice. The two girls that served us were lovely. So patient as we faffed around with the menu and the bill. Really recommended.More

We find our way to the restaurant today and were glad we did. The manager was polite and efficient in taking our order, she probably knew from our appearance that we were tourists. The restaurant was almost full during lunch time and we were fortunate...to get a seat. We ordered salmon soup for starter and reindeer sandwich. The salmon soup was really delicious. This small bistro is definetely worth a visit. Food is excellent. Starters was a mixed platter od local food which was excellent. Then burger or sandwich style main courses.Very tasty. Staff are very friendly. Nothing fancy but very popular with locals ..so book ahead!

Seriously the best food in Rovaniemi. The chef is amazing. We ate there 3 times and were blown away each time. The tasting plate is a great way to sample Finnish specialties. Salmon soup beautiful as was the beetroot and blue cheese risotto (sounds strange...but try it!). Lovely wines by the glass. Wonderful staff and good value (Finland is pricey by the way)More

We got the platter with a lot of local flavours for two, as well as a reindeer sandwich and the salmon risotto. Everything was tasty and filling. The service was polite and made suggestions which we appreciated a lot! Would definitely come back!

We stopped here for a quick last meal before our flight back. Quite a few restaurants in Rovaniemi are closed on the Sunday so were grateful to find a spot at the Ravintola. The salmon soup was hearty and delicious and warmed us up after...a full day of hiking in the snow. The portions of chips and halloumi fries were also generous.More

Perfect place to eat something of its menu. Staff so friendly and well knowing. Everything we ordered was amazing and it looks with high quality. Prices good. We'll come back no doubts
