DH and I had a great dinner here on our first night Rovaniemi. We shared four dishes which was the perfect amount for a lighter dinner. We had 1 of the artichoke, 1 of the risotto and then each had the crayfish soup. All were...delicious and had a ton of components that worked really well together. Wines by the class we were able to taste first which is always appreciated. Would def recommend if in the area and looking for a nicer night out.More

We reserved a table for 7 (4 adults/3 kids) for dinner. One kid got sick in the restaurant and threw up before we got the food ( too much chocolate and chips beforehand). The staff was not supportive to clean the table and floor, so...we did it alone. Instead the manager asked us to leave the restaurant and wanted us to pay for the drinks we only just got. After we refused she called the police ant said she was so kind not also ask to settle for the food that we didn’t get. Finally we payed 45 Euro. Policemen apologized for her.More

30.January.2023 Dear Sirs, The food is good. But the service, my God... More than one hour (!!!) to bring the bread (yes, the bread!!) to table. And when we finally asked the person in charge (a blond girl) about the delay, she was extremely rude...and hostile, just saying that she will make a discount in the billl...). Then they bring the main courses with the starters!! The risotto came to table cold (and it was a hot dish)!! They bring the fries when we have finished the meal... It's a pity that such a restaurant has so awful persons in charge. Paulo TarsoMore

The fish was delicious and well cooked and we appreciated the service.The music was good and not too loud.

A very good experience. Food description comes with a story and the taste and platting doesn't let you down. By the contrary, really high end food at a reasonable price.

Good variety food options with top quality ingredients that were well cooked and visually appealing. Pretty and simply decor, good service. Enjoy!

We were in Rovaniemi for a family trip and as a bonus it was my wifes birthday. I had joined a Lapland Forum and asked for places where you could dine in an Igloo, Gustavs came up more then once and I can see why,...really well placed with a great Irish Bar just over the way. I booked ahead from the UK to secure one of the two Glass igloos that they offer, no problems on arrival, we were greeted with warmth and smiles and led to our candle lit warm igloo. The Finnish G&T was one of the best I have ever had and the service was superb, our waitress discussed the Menu in great detail and we never felt rushed, the food came on time and was delicious. It seemed a bit surreal being served by a waitress who had to trudge through the snow but she was very obliging even taking pictures from outside of the Igloo for us and yes it was -9. The service , food and venue felt like a top dining experience but you would have to pay a lot more for a similar experience in London (For example the Ritz we paid over an eye watering amount for for my birthday treat, and no we are not rich or brash, it was a special day from my beautiful wife) ok granted it was not the Ritz but for the Minimum charge of 200 Euros for our Igloo you will not get better in Rovaniemi, our delightful waitress was very straight and upfront with our bill, no queries or unexpected surprises. This is the food we appreciated the most of our entire 11 days in Finland. Very creative chef, hats off to you! Simple yet delicious. Very laid back atmosphere, nice music, and extremely friendly staf.

The great gastronomy experience we had in Finland! Not only for the fresh and very well balanced food, but also the drinks made by the very nice Barman.

Excellent, good quality food and reasonably priced. We booked as a large group and they were incredibly good with the last minute changes.

Terrible service and dire food. We had to wait 55 minutes for the arrival of the roe starter dish we had ordered, and in spite of asking about its whereabouts several times. The excuses were lame. When it finally arrived It turned out to be...little more than a bowl of creme fraiche with some ready salted potato crisps straight from the packet! Unbelievably classless. The risotto and char were also disappointing.More
