Saima's Bread was super delicious and the decoration and athmosphere was really nice with romantic vintage vibes.

We came here with 4 kids. They have a reasonable kids menu. Adult food was good to mediocre. The local fried fish was tasty, the baked potato large and filling, the moose stew surprisingly bland (though this may just be the Finnish way of making...it). Indoors the place could pass as a haunted house with all the wallpaper. Finally: very good cakes to choose from for dessert.More

a short but unforgettable experience: good plates to eat, kind service, and if you are lucky enough hotel chambers wonderful refurnished, just in the middle of everything in Savonlinna: try in Christmas time or during Opera festival in the beautiful castle of Olavlinna. But book...well in advance!More

59 min kuluttua saimme annoksemme. Muikut olivat kuivia, lehtipihvi ja muussi aika mautonta. Voisi pihviin...edes pippuria laittaa. Hinta/laatusuhde ei kohdannut tässä paikassa. En voi suositella tätä ravintolaa ainakaan ruokailuun. We ordered vendace, chin slice of beef and mashed potatoes. As making order we were told that there are 10 orders ahead before us. We waited 50 minutes. Then asking where our food is we were told that there are 16 orders ahead! Finally it took 59 minutes to get our food! The fish was dry and beef and mashed potatoes flavorless. The expensive price does not meet the quality. Cannot recommed this restaurant.More

I enjoyed a good cappuccino and a really good gluten free sweet pastry called "Budapest". Nothing to complain! Separate outdoor terrace for non smokers. Also a sandbox for little children. Service was good & fast although place was not crowded. I recommend to stop by...on your way in or out to the castle :)More

Only 6 rooms but all a great pleasure and unique. Owners have really their heart in it. Try also food from café. As close as you can get from the castle, book early.

We were visiting Savonlinna on our vacation and stopped by for lunch. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our food with was very frustrating. The food was not great and we will pick another restaurant the next time.
