Great potential for good restaurant but current arrangements are focused on getting max possible profit without any kind of effort to give something back. When you come inside you need to order and pay directly to cash desk. No complimentary water. All beverages you need to fill by yourself from the same kind of machine as in Burger King and into the same kind of disposable Coca Cola mug. Can you imagine?! Only wine is served in the glass. We waited 50 min for a food. Weather was great, so it was not too bad. But if you are hungry, you should continue walking for 10 m and get a food from numerous food booths because in this ”restaurant” you are not going to get better food or feeling even prices are of restaurant level

Thank you visiting us. Our restaurant is based on fast food concept, dishes costs from 8.90 to 20,50 euros. Mostly ala carte restaurant dishes cost 15-35 euros in Finland. That is also the reason we are very popular. We have our own fishing, food is local and fresh. It's very few days in summer that our waiting time is longer than 30 minutes. Season is only some weeks, Welcome in August again So you don't need to wait longer than 10 minutes 😅

Being included among the three restaurants recommended by the Finnish Guide I use, I expected something better from this place, presented as owned by a fisherman who serves the fish he catches every day. Yes, the place is anchored on a swaying raft on the lake, but the muikku we ate - and were served two minutes after ordering... - were a bit dry and had definitely been heated. Better pike perch or kuha with cantolalli in wine sauce, but not above the average level of such dishes, frequent on menus in this country.

Really good catch of the day vendice and mash, and very affordable! Absolutely worth a visit. Went there for a second time for drinks. Got a warm beer, and they quickly and of course cost free replaced it with a cold one, no questions asked. Will visit them again, most definitely!

Very good food (all fish options!), food was there very quick. The price for the food is fair. As everywhere in Finland the drinks are expensive but you know that. You have to order and pay when you come in due to COVID-19 restrictions. I liked this but I understand it's not for everyone

We both got the little fishies with mashed potatoes. It was the best muikku we have ever had. Weather was nice, place was busy but the food was worth every bit of the 30 min wait. 6/5 would recommend.

Our food came within minutes so no complaints; we were there on a Thursday afternoon. Delicious vendace fried in butter, aah! Great location, and we were also lucky to enjoy sunshine on their terrace.

We ordered fish. We were disappointed with the food. The fish was probably not quite fresh. Poor price-quality ratio. The restaurant is in a good location. We had to wait for food for about an hour.

A perfect simple dinner - the local fish -fried Muikku (vendace) with dill sauce, a mixed salad and mashed potato. We went in late August so the peak season had already ended. Service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious. The location by the waters edge is lovely for sunset, people watching and a cold beer.

We came, looked at the menu and the picutres and were happy to order fish an chips. What was brought to our table looked like fish and chips but the fish was fake. It was some undefined substitute that may have contained fish but it wasn't fish. It was more like a type of dough that was then fried. Completely unacceptable and I guess even against European food legislation. The chips at leat were real chips but they weren't great either.

Forget the fancy places. This is where you should come for fried muikka, a Nordic small salmon-type fish. Delicious, absolutely fresh and served with the appropriate sidings. Friendly staff, prompt service and nice atmosphere. Once you’ve tried it you will come back! Don’t get fooled by the inconspicuous venue, this is as good as it gets.
