Gosh what a place! Beer list is more like a short story, as long and as entertaining. Decent cider selection available, too. Pub style food. Smallish and crowded. Very nice service indeed. I wish I could visit Kuopio more often because of this place.

Stopped by to test their wings and they didnt let me down. Good wings with good sauce. Affordable beer aswell. Small place with a few screens for sports. Friendly staff. Would stop by again.

First book a table! because bar is very popular! Very good value different sorts of beer. And food is very good and value for money is excellent!

This is my local place and I have been eaten there several times. All dishes are excellent, my favourite is Moscow stew and my husband prefers chicken wings. The prizes are very wallet friendly. The atmosphere is excellent and usually there is hum of voices...going on all. The personnel is friendly and service is excellent. I strongly recommend Bierstube.More

This were like the best wings i had in my life, the sauce, the texture and the portion is really great, actually after i finished i was sorry that i didn’t ordered more. Also the finnish beer is amazing. The place is really chill.

We looked for a nice place to eat in Kuopio and TripAdvisor recommended this place. This is a very nice bar, with TVs so if you are a sports fan you can probably watch your favorite match. Go for what they are famous for, meaning...the hot wings. They were definitely the best hot wings I've had. We have also tried some traditional Finnish dish but I forgot the name (you can ask for traditional Finnish-Swedish food), salmon pasta and fish & chips. It is a very good choice for lunch, especially if you want to lunch or dine in a nice restaurant but you are on a budget.More

Enjoyed a very nice IPA they had on draft. They definitely can do beer. The finger food we ordered was, however, not that great. Would not go there again for food.

Visited Kuopio for business and had no idea where to eat. Luckily I found this gem from Tripadvisor! This is a tiny place with a screen to watch some sports. I was a bit sceptic whether the food would be good or not, BUT had...the slow braised pork and it was wonderful! Extensive beer selection aswell. Will come again when visiting Kuopio and definitely recommend to my friends!More

Very friendly host and great evening of beer, cards and a bite to eat. One of the meals was a little strange (but maybe I had picked an odd combination) but otherwise very good value - not good for vegetarians though.

If you are in Kuopio, want some proper bar food, great beer and nice athmosphere, go to Bierstube!!! Wings are probably the best I have ever had. Ask about the beers and try what they recomment!! Will go again, gor sure!
