If you want a simple, spicy three course meal at lunchtime the this tiny place is very good. Have eaten there for many years and enjoyedit!

Just arrived from Thai trip few months back so it was good to compare. Food is amazing and delivered fast. Ingredients where fresh and just the right spiceness. Athmospere was like arriving to someones home for dinner.. Very friendly and it seemed like 3 generations...were working in kitchen and desk. Dont let the odd-looking building fool you. I first discovered this place about 11 years ago when I last lived in Kuopio. It was a little gem that opened my eyes to Thai cuisine and ever since whenever I visit a new Thai restaurant I compare the food to what I used...to eat here. It was with great excitement that I returned to Kuopio and not in a small part due to this place. However, the little old lady that used to do the cooking seems to have gone now and the food has been adapted a little to local tastes. Maybe my expectations were too high but I was saddened by the change. The food was still good but not as good as it once was. The soup still packed a punch but the flavours weren't as clear and crisp as I expected and the punch wasn't close to being the knockout blow it used to be. The Beef Red Curry was full of flavour but lacked the slight anise flavour I once loved. Don't get me wrong, I will go back on a regular basis but I will always remember the little old lady and the awakening to Thai cuisine she gifted me.More

very anonymus restaurant the food is very strange and little complicate to feel the testing but in total is not a bad place the people are nice and easy.

This is tiny Thai restaurant in a side street near marketplace. Serves very good food. I have never got a bad dish here.

We came to Kuopio and wanted to find a good Thai experience. Have to admit that we were sceptical, but Siam Thai really delivered. My colleague ate green curry with shrimp and was very satisfied with the taste. I had noodles with chicken and chili...- excellent. So, in our opinion you should not shy away the looks of this place but give it a try.More

We visited Thai restaurant in Kuopio on a weekend day, meaning that they did not had a lunch offer, like they have during weekdays. The service was fairly friendly, and the time needed to prepare the food was fairly short one. However, we were bit...disappointed since all the five different meals were very much based on the same base sauce... It looks like they had tuned their menu to be non-spicy. During the lunch time they did have some guests anyway, so people seemed to like that. I have had better Thai food experiences, but this restaurant is the only Thai-restaurant in the nearness.More

I live in Kuopio and there are few places I go often. This is my favorite restaurant in Kuopio. The food is always good. The lunches are quite tasty, filling and fast. The atmosphere is just average, but the food and price make up for...it big time. Finland is not a cheap place to eat out anyway, but three adults can fill up on really good food for about 50 euros.More

Had a dinner at this facility, I wasn't quite disappointed given how far they are from the capital. The food tastes delicious and good. I recommend, good menu and nice atmosphere. Price was good as-well.
