How is Restaurant Urban rated?

Excellent food and aesthetically beautiful dishes. Place is cozy, relaxed and still professional. Waitress could have been explaining things a bit more and spend some time with us. Others than that - perfect! Definitely recommend!

Nice food, but they do table sharing even at dinner

The food was very tasty and creative at the five course dinner, the accompanying wines were average. They may seat you at the same table with strangers even at dinner, so my advice is to be aware of that, as this is not currently disclosed...anywhere on their site. When I politely sent feedback on the issue, the response was to ask for a table just for my group in the next table reservation I make, and they might take this wish into consideration.More

A very charming modern restaurant

A very charming modern restaurant just a few steps from Kuopio market square. We had a lunch in Urban - very modern kitchen. Nice and friendly service.

Fine lunch choice

Excellent food and warm place. In our case was only two menu choices. For me it was a nice looking and well tasted menu.

Great tasting menu. Also lunch!

I have visited many times in menu evenings. Everytime food has been awesome, menu setup has been in good balance, wines fit very well with food, service is excellent etc. Restaurant offers also very tasty lunch! I think this might be best restaurant in Kuopio,...in top 2.More

Lunch Price-quality relation top-notch

Spectacular lunch offer. With 10€ you get amuse bouche, vegan burger and small dessert raspberry mousse with coffee. Facilities are very nice and service is 10+.

Best lunch in Kuopio

Always friendly stuff and delicious food. They serve amazing vegetarian dishes (I almost always choose vegetarian option) and super tasty bite-size deserts.

Fine dining at lunch prices

Amazing lunch food. Shame they do not do evening meals everyday! But certainly worth a visit in Kuopio, food is presented amazingly and tastes even better.

Great

3 meals at 12 euros, you have an appetizer, another meal and then dessert. I think this is a really good deal and the food is really tasty, the place is crowded and you re lucky if you can actually find a table. The service...was really fast. Also just so you know you can only have lunch here.More

Wonderful lunch

I absolutely fell in love with this place. I have heard so much good and it all came true. Everyday you can choose between meat and vegetable lunch, also coffee/tea, small sweet and soup included. Definitely, definitely RECOMMENDED! The food is so tasty and lunch...cost only 11€ for everything fancy you get.More

Best possible dinner menu beside Musta Lammas in Kuopio

If you can get a table for mystery menu book it. It's five stars. Seasonal menus witjh a twist from a finnish Top Chef 2015.

Fantastic supper

This restaurant is only open for private parties in the evening. About 20 colleagues met for a delicious meal. Lobster soup, duck confit, apple and caramel purée each with a different wine followed by coffee and cognac. Great company and excellent meal. Chef was a...previous Finland master chef . GreatMore

Nice place OK food

No menu with just a couple of wishes to choose from there is no need for one. Service was very nice and you get a small soup antre and free after food coffee/ tea. The prices are also OK. The only issue is the veriety...or lack of it. The big plus is the atmosphere!More
