Compared to the pizza we have enjoyed in Europe and especially in Italy, this one ranks right at the top! The ingredients are excellent and we can confirm the promise on the clear menu that this is a pizza that meets the quality standards of the Neopolitan region. The service was very nice - everything was perfect - we would have expected anything up here but not such a perfect pizza. Grazie mille to the team at Pizzeria Sorrento

This small pizzeria is very popular. Their menu contains only appetizers, pizzas, ice cream and cannoli (fried pastry filled with cream and ricotta cheese). However, their pizzas are AVPN certified Neapolitan pizzas which are baked in a very hot oven (450 degrees Celsius).
I chose a pizza named Nduja & Ricotta. It includes nduja (very spicy spreadable pork sausage from Calabria), Frior di Latte mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, ricotta cheese, virgin olive oil and basil. My pizza was extremely delicious.

The Restaurant is now divided into a trattoria near the harbor and the Pizzeria at Snellmaninkatu. We ate at the Pizzeria and had the best pizza for a long time. I had the Marlon Brando, with dry ham and salami. The ingredients had high quality and were typically Italian. The dough was just perfect and the tomato sauce self made. Of course the price is higher than in a cheap pizzeria, but it’s definitely worth it and regarding the ingredients it can even be considered rather cheap. The quality beats it. Definitely worth a visit!

Basic buff valid. The gluten-free options are inferior. The waiter tried hard and was friendly. We were promised a pizza separately, it came with a cardboard-flavored base and cold, the cheese hadn't even melted. They promised to make a new one, but nothing else. When leaving, they told me that the pizza is waiting in the box if I want to go with it. I had come to the restaurant to eat. Almost none of the other food was glut, but they charged full price. Finally, I tried to drink tea from the tap that said hot water. The water was cold, I should have heard separately and known how to ask at the counter. I'm in a bad mood.

We were group of more than 30 persons, and had reserved to come at 8 pm and preordered pizzas. People were hungry at that time after a hard day working. Preorder didn't mean anything the waiter said, anything could be ordered, which meant that first people got their pizzas quite soon and at nine o'clock part of the group were still waiting for their pizzas while the first ones were already checking out. It was meant to be a get together evening but hungry people are not the happiest ones. Restaurant shouldn't accept the reservation if they can't deliver. Luckily the pizzas were tasty.

I came to this restaurant with my son, because it was in the top in Trip adviser. I thought I would eat pasta, because there were some pictures in the reviews. But they only had pizzas in their menu, so I had to order pizza. I ordered pizza with tuna, and it came with canned tuna (it should have been mentioned in the menu, in my opinion). Pizza wasn’t impressive at all, I had eaten much nicer pizza in Finland. Over all, I was slightly disappointed.

Maybe 3rd time in restaurant, every time pizza. All three times pizza was great, maybe one of the best in ever eaten. It is about the dough in base, which just as soft as needed and baked just enough. When type and qty I'd filling is in good balance then it is a perfect pizza 🍕!

No doubt that they have good pizzas here, but to be number one resturant in town is most likely more due to the amount of visitors and the value for your money. If you like pizza you'll like this place for sure. They are good, but in the end, they are still "just" a pizza.

The Best Italian Pizza place in Kuopio City. The owner is a genuine man from Naples, Italy and he has 9 children in Kuopio. My favorite pizza is Sylvester Stallone's style Rocky Balboo pizza. 😊👍

We had family dinner twice in this restaurant that most would probably describe as authentic italian. Located centrally, close to the harbour. Pizzas and pastas had a very palatable, well balanced touch of experimenting with cream, acidic ingredients and chili. Gluten free pizza dough was dull but otherwise we were quite happy with both dinner visits.

Bruschetta, Pizzas and Tiramisu were really tasty. Lemon & Ginger beverage was great! Nice athmosphere, good service, we did not need to wait long. Only thing to develop is to get new sharper knives for pizza. Huge recommendations!

Lunch was excellent, they have 5 different dishes in the lunch menu and pizzas. Other ala carte dishes were not possible to order during lunch time.
Pizzas were excellent and I took overcooked pork which was excellent.

Just a few words, very good restaurant with a faboulous service. The Owner is really amazing and trying to speak in a difficult language, like polish :)
Hospitality on the highest level.
Dishes were perfect. We tried a lamb, pizza, some dessert, but really nice idea with a starter. You can take what you want from a starter's table.

Looked upon Trip advisor to find a place for dinner close by the hotel. Had not intended to have a pizza but can defenetly recommend to go here to have both dinner and lunch. Pleasant service and pizza came like ordered and made in a real pizza owen.

The town seemed to packed during the night of our stay, but the staff managed to make room for us at the terrace. It is a family owned business, and offers wonderful service.
Solid Italian list with pizza, pasta, and entrees. Peroni on tap, and very good wine recommendations. The food was best I’ve had outside Italy, truly. It was wonderful! Espressos and limoncellos crowned the meal.
If you want an alternative to ’muikku’ when in town, definitely look up this restaurant! I highly recommend it to everyone who plans a trip to Kuopio - singing praises.
