Easy lunch

At lunchtime soup and bread were served in buffet and maincourses have a few options to choose from. Maincourses are served to the tables. We went on a quiet time, service was fast. We could have waited even a bit longer, after all you can start with the soup immediately. The food was alright, nothing wrong with it, but also nothing special to mention about. One person in our party ordered a salad bowl, others had burgers. This is a music restaurant with some interesting decor items, also I guess they might have some events worth attending.

Lunch with our two little dogs at the restaurant terrace

Excellent food and very friendly staff. I had a garlic-herb bread and a vegetarian tofu wok and both were excellent! My husband had risotto with pike fish. Everything tasted excellent. Perhaps a bit oily but delicious. Unfortunately, they had run out of some choices, chicken from the main course and cheesecake from the deserts could not be chosen. We had two little dogs with us and were allowed to take them with us to the terrace. The staff brought even some water for them and were really nice to our puppies.

Perfect choice

Perfect choice! Delicious food, friendly service and eaven some vegan courses on the list. Art downstairs... and music. Wow!

With those prices You would expect to receive quality food. This unfortunately was not the case. Fries was soaky and tasteless. Burgers were basic with nothing to mention about. Lots of waiting in every turn even it was just afternoon when we went in. Including our party there was only eight people. Worst part was when i ordered IPA beer. Glass was warm and so was the beer…

Good food but could be more cosy

Good burger, loved the sweet potato fries. Very sweet waitress, spoke good english. It wasn't the busiest time of the week, but I got my food fast. Cosy interior...at some places, the mix of different tables I didn't like, and that only a few table had beautiful lights hanging from the roof. It made that some tables within the restaurant was more cozy than other places to sit. So there's room for more improvement of the interior. But overall good and good burger.

Great live music!

King's Crown is one of my favorite restaurants in Kuopio. The food is always delicious, atmosphere is warm, and staff is professional! I only wish they had more vegan choices. Try the Saturday brunch!

Excellent restaurant ❤️

Together with my cousin, We enjoyed a really good brunch, with Champagne. Restaurant take really good care my cousin, who has plenty of food allergies. Athmosphere was very nice and weitresses were friendly. Table reservation is needed 👍

Sunday brunch

Great lookingwith nice chilling music. Old musical instruments all around restaurant makes great decoration and to create easy-going non stress atmosphere. Brunch was fulfilling. Starters were even better than main dish, witch this time happened to be open pulleg pork burges. It was little "floury" though it was delicious. They have also gluten-free and non-dairy options!

Lunching

Sad monday noon and I was starving... went to King's Crown to have lunch. Menu was short but intresting. I end up with risotto with chicken. Risotto was made of barley. Portion was just right size and chicken was juicy. Special thanks for pesto and fresh chives. I'd love to go there again.

Great food

I've been here several times. This visit made no difference from previous occasions... the food was great and although the restaurant was almost full we got attentive service. Atmosphere was relaxed with piano music and smiling staff. Huge contrast to previous restaurant we visited.

Good lunch

A unique restaurant in a great location in Kuopio. The lunch menu was good, and the starter saladbar was very good! We shared a ceasar salad and a salmon pasta, and they were both good. The ceasar salad could have done with more dressing, and the salmon pasta could have had more seasoning on it. However we had a pleasant lunch, and we'll try King's crown again one evening!

Awesome ravioli

We were at the King's Crown restaurant last year already and came back last week. We ate both times the RAPU-RAVIOLIPASTA / PRAWN-RAVIOLIPASTA and it was just fantastic. This is such a good dish, absolutely amazing. The waiters were also very friendly and we had a really enjoyable time there. Definitively coming back next time we're in Kuopio and already recommended to family and friends.
