Tuesday lunch with a family. Splendid salad buffet. Creme Ninon was tasteful, not just a peasoup. So was also crumbed and roasted chicken and house sausages with sauerkraut. A nice experience indeed.

A nice restaurant near the marketplace. The venue is a bit big and not so cosy, but the service and food are excellent. We had as starters goat cheese and strawberry salad and smoked salmon tartar and mousse. As mains we had asparagus risotto with grilled asparagus and reindeer file with tasty game sauce and tasty veggies. As dessert we had strawberry sorbet with meadowsweet crème, rose pepper meringue and marinated strawberries. Tasty wines were chosen to suit every dish. The service was very friendly and considerate. We can warmly recommend Skilla for a pleasant and tasty dinner.

My worst food ever i eated... potatoes didnt tawte anything. Pork shnitsel didnt taste nothinh and all rest food barely eatible... bread was good.

Menu is ambitious and very tasty. We appreciated use of local ingredients. Especially the dessert with birch ice cream was excellent

This is the restaurant Kuopio sorely needed. Everything on our plate was basically local ingredients! Fine cooking executed to perfection with creativity. Portion size just right. They make their own gluten free bread which was fantastic. Service was friendly and attentive. Good value for money. Love the wooden touch in the decor and the little lounge at front. If I had to change something it would be the paper napkins. I’ll definitely come back on my next visit to Kuopio!
