It's always a pleasant surprise to find something else than just regular "bag-tea" from the list for a person who is not drinking coffee. When the chai is this good and with a unique twist, I'm sold. Small place but nicely decorated and great collection...of cakes and buns.More

Great lunch location

Cute little “grammas” cafe near the central market square in downtown Kuopio. We had a wonderful lunch; salads with Finnish salmon, waffles and quiche. Personnel was super friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was cozy and the cafe was nicely decorated with Finnish country antiques. Menu was...vegetarian as well as gluten free friendly and all foods were from Finland.More

Nice home made lunch

Had a nice home made soup with home made bread for lunch in a small cozy cafe near the market place. Soup is served from mon-sat and it is highly recommended. Tasty home made cakes and buns are available for dessert with fresh coffee.

Great lunch at Grandmothers place

Just few meters away from the market square, there is a nice cafe serving breakfast - lunch- afternoon break. Easygoing place with fresh items, like from grandman' kitchen. Open about 9 am to 5 pm only Enjoyed really a lot!

Absolutely fabulous!

Best gluten free waffels!! And best waffels in general! Great soup lunch. Nice and friendly, helpfull and happy staff! Try it!

Excellent service, excellent cakes

Small, cozy and so lovely place. A real grandma's in the middle of Kuopio. In mummola you may get the real Finnish taste of grandma's pastry.
