This is apparently one of the best, most beloved restaurants in Stockholm. On our last night in the city, my dining partner and I were looking for a place that served traditional Swedish food (non gastronomic, as we had done that on previous nights). Our...More

What a marvelous experience. My Swedish raised wife, now a US citizen, wanted to host her Swedish cousins to an extra fine dinner. Kryp In is close to our hotel in Gamla Stan but none of us had ever been there before. Small and intimate,...More

We had dinner there(it was very hard to get a table), the food was nothing special at all, very ordinary and simply cooked food but highly priced.Maybe,it was just their bad day or maybe we had very high expectations that caused the big dissapointment! Lowering...More

Went here after reading the reviews here on tripadvisor. Not disappointed. Very romantic with candles, cosy (you sit very close to others), excellent food and service. The wines are so so, I would avoid the ecological ones. In old town, near the castle so it's...More

A nice little restaurant tucked away in the old town. I had made an error with my booking - wrong day! But the staff handled it perfectly and squeezed us in. The food was delicious - i had the reindeer and my wife had the...More

We actually wanted to go here for dinner, since we only heard positive things about Kryp In, instead we ended up here on a lunch while we were walking around in old town. The lunch menu is limited to the daily choices that they offer...More

We went to this tiny restaurant based on recommendations from Rick Steves and Tripadvisor. It was hidden away, just a half block from our hotel (Lady Hamilton). We did have a reservation. The food as absolutely wonderful! It was fresh and inventive with wonderfully melded...More

We all have reindeer here and all my friend think its fresh and great. This is my first time try reindeer but I can't stand the flavor. So maybe someone will not like it but it worth to try. Besides, the starter is great.

I normally travel on a fairly tight budget, so this was a bit of a treat for me and I went to the restaurant based purely on my research on Trip Advisor. I have to say I am very glad I did, the place is...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
